As the lads above have said, neither's better they're just different. Which ever one feels best in your hands is the one to go for.

I've seen all sorts of Heath Robinson lash-ups on the net with air tanks hanging off belts and all kinds stuff but I've not found a proper conversion yet. Looking at the Gmac Custom Parts site as sugested by Java53 there seems to be all the bits and bobs needed to do the conversion properly but I think I'll go for their 12oz Co2 bulk fill conversion. It's costing a fecking fortune now that both of my boys and my girlfriend are using it

I know both Walther and Anshutz sell .20 barrel blanks in the normal 12mm airgun diamiter. It could be worth your while talking to a decent gunsmith, may well save you a good few quid if you want it done. -
 Sorry, couldn't resist And I wasn't even there......
-
Depends on the gun. A .20 barrel for my 90 cost me £ but that was about five years ago now. Gotta say though, I'm glad I did it. I'm very pleased with the results.
-
My HW90 shoots best overall with FTTs. Nice and flat flight with superb accuracy. Loguns group well as do the JSBs and Baracudas. Bisley Superfield surprised me with very good results but they're very hard to get hold of in .20 but worth a try if you can. They're the only funny shaped pellet I've ever tried that hold a properly tight group at longer ranges.
-
Expect about 20 at best in .22 before it turns into a total dog to shoot and accuracy goes south. Have a look at the Dianas I've mentioned before, Lewis. You'll get low 30s easily in .22 and they are much nicer to shoot with no more bounce and kick than most sub-12 rifles.

It's just nice to see a new gun with what looks like a proper set of open sights for a change. I like a good old set of iron sights sometimes. Stuff the plastic stock though!!

 Stabber!!!???? I'm surprised he let that one slip, Paul must've been pissed!!! Funny as feck at the time though, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. You can take the boy out of Liverpool....... They'll get put to good use, Wurz. I've tried them before through the old 90 and they group very well indeed, only slightly bettered by FTTs but not by much I'll pass that on to Simon and it will be great to meet up properly at some point. Looking forward to it. Thanks again, Wurz

He is, Si. I've never met the bloke, I've only had the odd short chat on here with him and one brief chat on the phone. Helps to bring back a little faith in humanity

I've just got back from my mate Paul's gaff after catching up with him after the meet and he produced a couple of packs of .20 Loguns given to him by Wurz for me. Honestly, mate, I'm really grateful. My 90 shoots very nicely thankyou with those, Wurz. I owe you one If you ever find your way up this end with a little time on your hands then please give me a shout. There's some beautiful parts of Yorkshire I'd like to introduce to you and your Pro Sport Once again, many thanks Wurz. You're a gent.

Don't bother. Spanish junk factory fitted with what are meant to be retro fit gas rams for other rifles. Avoid....

I think I know how your boy feels, Craig. It was the biggest shock of my life to tell my Dad he was going to be a Grand Dad That was over thirteen years ago now and the best thing that ever happened to me. All the very best to you and your's from me and mine, mate Edit to add..... I can't imagine how I'd feel though as and when one of my boys says it to me though....... -
The Patriot's a big, bouncy donkey of a thing. Very hold sensitive and with a second rate (at best) trigger. If you're after a springer to put on your ticket, then have a look at the Diana 52 or 48. Or if you can find one the 54. They're the best high output springers by a country mile.

I'll give you a ring tomorrow, Simon. It looks like it's turned to sh*t for me, but Paul's still up for it. Speak soon, mate. PS. This new permission's a cracker. You'll have to get your arse over here soon, mate, it really is a lovely new shoot Debs has been over with me too, she's a convert to this shooting malarky!!

Lovely old rifles those but a bit of a pig to work on, the trigger mechanism's a bitch!! Springs and ball bearings all over the workshop. I used to hate working on them

Can one of you lovely folks PM me the address for my satnav, please? Hopefully Simon, Paul and myself can make it down on Friday afternoon but will most probably have to head back oop norf for Saturday evening. I'll have my little lad with me who's ten, but is well used to guns and being around shooters. He's quite a handy shot too with the Ratty!! -

Having thought about this a bit more, I can probably sort something out with my shooting partner Paul. Pianoman's moved house recently and has dropped off the radar somewhat, but I'm sure he'd be up for it too once I can get hold of him.
