  1. Neither one is better than the other, they're just different. The 's a much older model but their design principle is very similar indeed. The has more weight to it which may be helpful if you do a lot of standing shots and you're OK lugging the thing about. If weight's an issue, the 95 may be the better choice but the only person who can say which one's best for you is you. As has been said above, it's how the gun feels to you that counts the most and the only way you can decide is to handle and preferably shoot both guns. Fit is very important with gun choice and it's going to be yo
  2. Thanks lads Simon's ok, he's set up a studio at his folks house so he can concentrate properly on his art work. Thankfully it's a clean enough break and they're both getting on with their lives. I'll be speaking to Simon tommorow all being well, so I'll pass on all your good wishes. Thanks again, folks. Cheers Edit to add..... Here's a link to Simon's site. 4. Hi, folks. I was talking to Simon yesterday on the phone and he asked me to let you all know that he's not deserted the forum. The reason he's been rather quiet of late is due to personal circumstances. He's going through a separation just now and has been staying with his folks for the past few weeks, he's no internet access there so is unable to check in very often. Hopefully he'll be settled in his new place sometime early January. He asked me to say sorry on his behalf for any unanswered PMs, he's not being rude, just unable to reply just now. If anyone needs to contact Simon t

  7. As has already been said, forget cheap new kit and go for quality used. As a rule so long as stick with pretty much anything German or Air Arms, you'll not go far wrong. Try to handle as many rifles as you can to see which feels right for you. Don't worry about break or fixed barrels, there's no difference accuracy wise. Also modern BSA springers are shit, they're very badly thrown together in Spain
