  2. I get mine for nothing ,I just drop him a bit of "miscellaneous" during the winter and an occasional case of Fosters. Don't just give white meat I vary mine with beef and tripe mince.
  3. Got my OH to hold a similar terrier: scruffed it and dangled it a couple of seconds, then held it against him with its legs facing outwards, still holding on tight to the scruff as well: puts them in much more submissive state of mind, plus they can't crocodile roll or get a leg on the ground to stabilise them> had to laugh reading the above post though, imagining a terrier spinning gently hanging from a rafter. After reading an old post of yours about using a Wahl Pet Dremel I bought one, its a great tool, I do my four dogs In under half an hour.Brilliant bit of kit.
  4. Believe me i don't need no shrink .. What about a grammer teacher? haha I believe the old adage that you become the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with. Choose your friends carefully. You'll become like them. Yeah what about a GRAMMAR teacher?
  5. I am the world's worst for allowing such things to happen,...the joke is,..I can always see it coming, from afar,..but I still insist on standing on that live rail, until the lecky hits me... Much of my problem is laziness, pure and simple...and it is oh so easy, to fall in with guys that you know are basically, chancers and users.. It is convenient to jump aboard and tag along with folk, that in reality,..ain't really your kind of people. Back in the day, I would stick with tried and tested hunting partners,.men who,.like myself were no angels and same as me, could be touchy and had their

No comment on the other situation .

  17. Same with me pal, if anybody was about, they would have wanted me to shoot the small ones aswell but seeing as there wasn't and I don't have ferrets, I try to leave them because they would be wasted as far as I was concerned I wasn't criticising Magwitch and I used to shoot orchards all year round, 50 night in some cases. you have to keep the land but be sensible when you can.

  21. Got my copy yesterday, some great runs on it,Lucas is very good around cover and still knocking over his quarry in impressive fashion. Runs on some lovely big land ,and some catches on hedgey land with quite a bit of cover , ground on which most dogs find it hard to shine. Some good runs by his pups on there too. Excellent dvd! The proof of the pudding is in the watching
  22. The guy has run the dog everywhere and Lucas has proved himself over and over till he has nothing left to prove, even now when he is past his prime he is still knocking them over. There will always be crabbers talking about good dogs.
