    I got paid out a few yrs back when the whole PPI thing blew up. was a piece of piss, I just rang the bank I'd had a loan with, told them the cover I'd been sold was useless and I wanted it cancelled and if possible refunded. they said they'd look into it. two weeks later they sent me an offer in the post for more or less the whole sum I'd paid! maybe slightly different now everyone's on the bandwagon, but I'd give the bank a ring first, if no joy a middle man...     a "dead game" dog is quite useless in any kennel for he ceases to exist, you can't breed from him, match him, tickle his tummy....nothing....a dog that is game enough to get the job done, rough mouthed and hits the right spot...he'll do for me... Yokel

    if gameness is only found in bulls then surely only physical differences would make a winner or loser but that is as we both know is not true so whatever it is all dogs don't posses it and if thats the case then it can not be restricted to a single breed but rather as you say a trait in particular individuals it takes more than gameness to make a good match dog, infact, some of the best dogs never had their gameness fully tested because they had so many other tools in the box they had the job finished before gameness was ever brought to play. you should always breed for gameness, but whe

    hence why I ended saying unfortunately it has turned full circle! the dda was passed in 1991, we are now in 2013. that's 22yrs for the fools to get hold of things they shouldn't, tho most of the mutts I see being bandied around as "pit bulls" look like inferior crosses to me. believe me, after the dda was passed, the vast majority gave up, or had their dogs taken. the only people who went out of their way to keep them where those who knew them best... yokel

    The problem with the "sporting bred" bull breeds started (i.m.o) when they became owned by the non sporting fraternity. you cannot take a highly tuned, sporting bred bull and terrier and stick it in the house with your wife and kids.
