  1. never tried them myself but someone once told me tums work. short trips often will get them used to it, also sit the dog in the front with you for a few trips makes them less nervy. re: the above. "I stopped feeding him before we travelled but thats not really practical for you as they're working." don't get this, i would'nt feed a dog before working, hardly gonna run his best with a full belly.

  4. did he pass many worms after worming? if he had a heavy infestation it could of caused damage to the lining of the stomach, had this with a bitch pup i was given some years back, put her on a very simple diet for a month or so and she came right.

  7. have a 7mth old male here at the mo, sire was 3/4 grey 1/4 beddy put to a bullgrey/bull whippet. early doors yet, but a very keen pup, happy with the wee fella.
  8. 14inches tts Shineyspade looks a cracker that, the best terrier i owned was a big lump, stood around 15/16in and i'd of needed hand extentions to span him, but if there was something at home he was right up on it & you never need to dig more than once...
  9. what was the problem with youres took the dog to the vets he didnt have a clue !after blood tests sent us to have mri scan spinal tap and other tests ,now they seem to think its a neurological disease ,any one had this problem and what as the outcome? first was poison, vet pumped her with vit k and fluids, died the following afternoon. the other, never found out, you could tell she was unwell, but she did'nt look too bad, so brough her indoors for the evening and was going to get her to the vet first thing the next morning, woke up to a dead dog, we live and learn...

  11. i used to use peroxide to flush out wounds but no more. if you are going to use it be aware it comes in different strengths, get the weakest available(about 3 or 5%) as this stuff burns. i go for the saline eye wash pods myself, excellent for flushing out shite.   13. get the dog to the vets sharpish, have lost 2 dogs in the past that had the same symptoms, went down hill very quickly. yokel
