peyote is indeed a sacred cactus which contains mescaline, a hallucinogenic. the levels vary from plant to plant, and depending on the time of harvest, after the dry season is often best as the alkaloids are at the highest....google huichol indians, it was reading an article many many moons ago on these people that kinda got me interested. for plain ol' mescaline, dig out aldous huxleys doors of perception.

Top marks mushroom old chap! never messed about with trichocereus to much, but that has given me a new little task to play on with a couple of my older buttons... @carraghs gem, no seed for sale, all in the propagator, but when my older buttons produce some more, i'll gladly stick some in the post to you, no charge! i prefer "spiritual enlightenment" lol...tis a long drawn out process for such use as they need to be fully mature specimens, at least 5yrs old. Mainly grow them for the hell of it these days, give alot away as "unique" birthday/chrismas gifts... Yokel.

Have not grown any for a few years now, and with only three left out of an original 17, including a 25yr old specimen, i thought it was about time to get some on the go! 25 seeds put into the propagator a few days back, have 7 sticking their lovely little heads up so far...Anyone else growing cacti out there? Yokel.

i best part deaf in my right ear,with tinitus to boot. had various checks ups, stuck in sound booths with a little button to press when i heard a noise, that sort of thing. well, they then said they wanted to do an M.R.I. scan, just to be sure there was nothing "sinister" going on. 15 f***ing minutes i had to lay in that f***ing thing! and you would not believe the f***ing noise of it!!! i told them when they got me out, "i'm definately f***ing deaf now ya c**ts"...keep away from it pete, thats my advise...
