So what was the gun pushing at 580.8 Ummm if you mean the FX 15.9 grain pellets (actual weight) with the highest MV of 582.3 it was 11.97 foot pounds so very close to the legal limit when lubed. A little too close for comfort if tested by the police though mate. My HW97KT was doing over 14 foot pounds though until a few weeks ago without shooting lubed pellets. It happens, but I'm glad its all sorted now. Si.

Well why dont you lot come and visit Hold Down Pursuits one Sunday and we could have a HFT shoot together, springer style? I was at Davy's 1 week ago. Si.

A copy and paste from a good site i sometimes use. There is a physical ballistic problem encountered when shooting on angles that causes the bullets point of impact to hit high. Shooting on angles is what every hunter experiences while hunting in mountainous terrain. Sheep hunters and deer hunters alike know all to well, that if their target is up or down on an angle, that they must aim low because the bullet will impact high. The reason for this has to do with gravity and the adjusted site height above the bore of the barrel. When we zero in our rifle at 100 yards, we are shooting on

Where are you living Miles and what's your mobile number? Pm better me thinks . I wouldn't mind popping to see you in a few weeks time if possible for a visit and do some shooting with you and Mawders. I could bring my tent and stay over a night. What you say buddy? Si.

Quality Daz, I'm really looking forward to seeing the new kit put to good use. Great results on the magpies as well. Si.

Hulk Hogan was always the daddy, Ultimate warrior was just a flash in the pan. Did you see when Yokozuna beat Bret the hitman Heart then Hulk Hogan came out with all his Hulkamaniacs and smashed Yokozuna to win the heavy weight championship of the world? I also as you was a huge fan. I used to wag school to watch it. A classic.

Here pal watch these and you will see that the cheaper model is well good enough for rat and rabbit with a air rifle. These are shot by a friend of mine. Si. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-84aAWbyFM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXV6ESI_2VA

No you want to get Pianoman to do that for you buddy. He is the true and undisputed springer champion. If I could shoot one half as good as him I would be 20 times better than I am now. If he comes to the meet in October you lads are in for a treat. Si.

You would be very surprised Mike, try this: Poor the whole contents of what you deem as the best batch and cleanest pellets you have into a glass see through jug. Ensure that there is warm water in there first then gently mix the pellets with you fingers. Hold the jug up to the light and see the amount of lead dust and crap that is at the bottom of the jug. Finally poor the pellets into a siv and look at what's on the inner edges of your glass jug. It can be surprising mate. All that if not dealt with first, ends up building up over time in your barrel causing inaccurac

After reading Mauders post I can see why you seem so happy now Mike with your new 95 . When you come to the meet in October lads we will have to do a springer shooting demo that me and Davy can put onto the channel showing different rifles in action at different ranges and on different targets etc. Its always good to champion the springers cause as so many people still shoot them but there is not that much promotion of them and their true capabilities on YouTube as its almost all PCPs. Si.

Go for it then Miles buddy and give Tony a call. Will be the best £75 you have spent on a rifle I bet . Just been reading your blogs pal and looking at your photos. I find it really interesting how you now live mate and in some ways really envy you. Si.

I've owned standard HW95's in the past and SFS tuned HW95s. The standard is still very good out he box with amazing accuracy but as stated can be a bit twangy for some. In comparison to a SFS tuned HW95 a standard HW95 is a sub standard rifle. I do not mean this with any disrespect to Weihrauch's standard rifles as they are awesome in their own right and better than almost every other rifle on the market out the box by maybe 2 or 3 other models. Its just a way of me trying to explain the differences in quality and performance. Quieter with no twangy noises, smoother, easier to

The man is a tuning legend. He posts and provides the best customer service and after care anywhere I have ever seen or used. His workmanship is second to none and his knowledge of his trade is vast and beyond comparison. You will not go wrong with getting you rifle tuned by Tony Wall. Si.

Point and shoot is all well and good, but to get the best out of your kit you need to weigh, sort, wash, measure and lube pellets. True and funny you have just written that Skot because for the past 2 years or so I have been saying the exact same thing and getting some varied comments, some even thinking I'm crazy and going over the top with this kind of preparation. Washing, lubing, weighing prior to calculating your own pellets REAL (not what Chairgun deems as standard) BC is the ONLY way to get the best out of your equipment. This is how me and Davy calibrate our rifle now and the

A day on the stubble with Si Pittaway & his friend Gary shooting pigeons.
zini replied to zini's topic in Airgun Hunting
He offered me a go but i declined partner as i wanted to film instead. I will have a go next time. Si. -
Hi there, In this episode of VerminHuntersTV we are showing something slightly different from the norm and I get invited by a friend of mine Gary onto one of his stubble field permissions to go pigeon shooting with him. As you will see I was wearing a Jack Pyke ghillie smock, gloves and head over and the birds just could not see me stood next to Gary filming. Please enjoy Si.

The Nite Site NS200 day time and night time review
zini replied to zini's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Yes its a real good item to use at night. I too have got another smaller lighter battery that I use with the one me and Davy have and use the big one as a spare. Ive seen so far really well to 97 yards according to Google Earth and know that rabbits I was looking at could of been another 50 or 60 yards further and I would of seen eye shine pretty easy. I have spotted a fox as well but didn't record it that later on when I looked on Google Earth was 228 yards. I saw its eyes only at first and wasn't sure what it was until it moved closer after 10 mins of mooching about and then -

If you mean the Pulsar with the 850 nm IR laser Daz it will work very well indeed as Ive tested a few now with that set up and they see awesomely at night with the laser on. Why not get the N750 the newer model mate with the built in doubler? Thanks for the comment pal. Good to hear from you again too. Si. -
The Nite Site NS200 day time and night time review
zini replied to zini's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
not forgetting and i qwote from acouple sourses ''well, people exspect the NV stuff to be big and heavey'' my reply was thanks for desiding that without asking me lol..1kg on average at the time.. or 1 thou on the tag. added on..stricly speeking it isnt 'night vision' in the sence that it needs a light to see..in this case infra red instead of cree or similar. Umm in that case then its only high quality gen 2 and mil spec gen 3 and above that are real night vision Ghillies ? Yukon and many others may disagree about that. The camera on the NS200 will see just like a gen 1
