  1. Sounds like a good idea Shay mate. I was doing some chrono work to day with the new chrono pal and the R10 and HW100KT. I got some suprising results with them both. Air rifle profile Scope type = Generic mil dot Scope magnification = 6 standard mil dot Scope above centre of barrel = 48mm Rifle type = BSA R10 Zero range = 25m Pellet type = FX Pellet weight = 16 grain Rifle velocity = 568.7 f/s or 173 m/s Rifle power = 11.51 Ft/lbs or 15.60 joules Profile stays within a 2.5cm kill zone from 8m to 28m First aim point is 10m 10m = Aim b
  2. Hi Rob mate, Welcome :welcomeani: to the forum buddy Some nice rifles that you have there pal. I used to own a Logun Evo in .177 myself, but part exchanged it for another rifle in FAC. They are good rifles mate and you get a good return on shots from a charge. I look forward to reading your posts and hopefully seeing some good photos pal Zini
  3. More to do with people shooting quarry but not putting the shot in the kill area mate. You hit any airgun quarry with a flat head in the kill area and its going to say good night. I just think that alot of the brands are accurate as hell to 10m but after that they loose their accuracy quickly unless you are lucky enough to have a barrel that likes them lots. Same as RWS hollow points. They are deadly at stopping rats and close range rabbits out to 20m, but i cant get them to group well at 30 metres with any of my barrels. Si
  4. Cheers Tony pal I never even thought that you were having a go at me mate, have i missed something here I havent got anything in my wallet to use anyway The 2 scopes and the chronograph seen to that Si
  5. I use a FX 4 stage and it pumps my HW100KT in under a minute from bottom of the green and my R10 in about 3 minutes after about 100 shots taken. Good exercise and free air. Zini

  9. You know it will always happen Tony pal LOL. OK I give up, just cancel what i put earlier, dont buy real cheap but top quality GunTuff mounts with their life time guarentee that do the job on springers and rimfires perfectly. Who am i anyway i have only been shooting 1 day LOL. Ill stop giving sensible advice and just read the posts . Buy Sports Match or Pro mounts as they do the same job, and are over twice as EXPENSIVE Zini
  10. I know mate, Not always true though pal is it? Si. Hi Garfield, Do i know you pal Joined today but commenting on my rifle Someone i think as changed their ID Zini
  11. Hi Xraider, As Darryl said both rifles are top class rifles buddy and well worth the money You really need to go and try them out in your shoulder to see which one feels the best for you pal. My R10 sits in my shoulder better than my HW100KT, but its just a personal thing and nothing against the rifle. If you have got £700 the you will get a very good set up mate. A R10 mark 2 is £599 from new mate so you should get one for about £450 to £500 probably with scope and mounts fitted already if your lucky. If not a set of GunTuff high mounts will cost you £8.99 and a good
  12. That would be cool pal cheers. Ive just bough a new chronograph myself mate. Hopefully it will be here in a couple of days time and then i will chrono all my rifles and see whats what mate. Ive found a good program that i use with a chrono graph mate that works out your energy levels in a second. Here is the link to it mate http://www.airgunsofarizona.com/energycalc.htm If you havent got the internet near your calibration range then you can do the following on a calculator: Velocity in (fps) times the Velocity in (fps) times the Pellet Weight in (grains) divided by
