  2. You can send the rifle to Tony. It costs about £10 and he will require you to pay the postage back to you. His number and address is as follows pal: 13,Queens Court, Greets Green Road West Bromwich B70 9EG Tel No : 0121 520 2000 Fax No : 0121 520 9999 Si
  3. Not sure on gas rams pal, but what i can advise you on is phone Tony Wall at Sandwell Field Sports in West Bromich and get it tuned by him instead of sticking a gas ram in pal. Read this Despite not having any feedback on my original question I decided to get my 177 Lightning XL tuned at Sandwell Field Sports. My reasons being 1. that there was far too much twang noise from the spring, 2. too lively, even for a light 177rifle it just seemed to recoil more than any other rifle at the club 3. It was so hard to get a pellet into the barrel i had to use a pellet seating tool. 4. M
  4. Yes Roly buddy I use 2 reticles in my videos. A standard mil dot copy on the HW100KT = Nikko Stirling Game King 3-16x44 AO and A range finding reticle with lines instead of dots on my R10 = Tasco 6-24x50 AO illume. Si

  9. Aaron, HFT doesnt really flick my switch buddy to tell you the truth pal. Having a scope and not being able to change your parallex from shot to shot is something i cant understand I think that i would be able to do ok over the course and hit a few targets but i know that i wouldnt have the same rush as when you shoot and humanely kill some vermin. Si
  10. An very old older fa*t LOL You will get me in trouble Mr Phantom Si
  11. Hi Tony, Its because they know that when you have the rifle, they are going to eat some lead and think better of staying within 55 metres of you pal . Hi Richard, I hope that you like the new DVD pal. Si
  12. Cheers lads, It ws doing a line dance Tony with its dancing partner "FX 16 grain" . Si
  13. Thanks guys . Yes Shay we all in our shooting careers have shot at a woody and the thing as flew off to die a painful death . Very dis tasteful isnt it lads ? I hate it when it happens, but sadly thats how we learn from our own mistakes and go on to be better shots. I just hope that someone takes something from the post and uses it for their own good use to ensure that their next shot is a clean kill and they must not make the same mistakes that i have made in my past. If one bird is dispatched cleaner after this post I'll be happy Si
  14. Nice going Gary mate. Good bit of breast there to scoff on pal. Good to see the Bisleys are still knocking the birdies over. Si
  15. The scope is brilliant pal. I use one on my R10 and have had some good use out of it. Zini
  16. Hi guys, After reading a post today by ROG, when he was writing about him having trouble killing woodies straight out without them flying off, I decided to put together a little tutorial to show why they fly off sometimes when hit and how you get around that happening by ensuring that your POI is perfect in a reconised kill area. Here is the link to the footage Enjoy Si
  17. Hi guys, After I shot the jackdaw today on scope camera I carried on waiting for a squizzer to pop its head out a dray, but it never happened. After a while of waiting I decided to go for a stalk about to see if there were any woodies about, as I fancied a woody and lemon grass Tai soup for my tea. Luckily for me I came across 2 of them over a period of about 30 minutes. Both were sitting in ever green trees thinking that they were out of sight. The first one I saw at about 25 metres and was given half a mil dot hold under to score a perfect brain shot, and the second one w
  18. Lee i think that the lamp will be too bright if left how it is mate. For rabbits you only need to low light buddy or they get very frightened and leg it in the beam Lee. If the area where you are lamping has been lamped before as well with a white lamp the bunnies will be very skitish pal. When i first started lamping on my permission with Festa, we could use a dull Deben Stinger without a filter on and get a few. 2 weeks later we wdidnt get a shot with a white lamp mate and needed to use a dull fed filtered lamp. A bright white light like that will mybe if your lucky get 1
  19. I wish you all the best sorting it Shay buddy Thanks guys for the comments on the jackdaw Si
  20. Hi all, Here is a quick bit of footage today when out with the HW100KT and scope camera. I was static hunting in a wooded area looking for squizzers, when this jackdaw decided to land at around 30 metres away from me. Resting the scope camera and rifle steadily on my knee I shot this footage. Enjoy Here is the link to the footage http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBqwqU6L8Qo Si
