  5. Nothing wrong with a SMK mate They have some real good rifles in stock now. Just like a Skoda was before. They had their bad cars and then they got the good ones. Same with SMK, but the problem is that people are too slow to change their opinions and dont want to see the changes made for the better, Id have a SMK anyday. Si
  6. I find a tuned Lightning to be just fine for hunting. I had about 12 months of good shooting with my one. I never shot over 35 metres but that is far enough and the rifle was caperble of shooting accurately at a greater distance. I found Accupells good in mine, when they were called Crossman Accupells. Nothing wrong with a Lightning if a bit of attention is paid to it by a proffessional. Si
  7. Ive never shot myself but i still have a .22 pellet in my neck from being shot with a friend with my old HW35 by mistake in 2000. I took a richo by standing too close to the back stop when he was shooting at metal spoons . I went to the hospital and they advised that the pellet would be better to stay in as it would cause more trouble for me if they tried to take it out. You should of seen the look on a nurses face when she x-rayed me in 2003 for a shoulder injury that i got in Cyprus after the Iraq war. I didnt tell her the object was a small .22 pellet that my mate shot me
  8. Looks real sore that Tony pal I think you need to go to the doctors pal and have them find out why your fingers are really like that. Once they have located the problem then a cure will come easier pal. All cream may do is cure it for a while until it comes back again Si
  9. Hi Jack, Ive never heard the term "Artillery Hold" mate, but what you have described is what i do and probably 99% of all the regs on here anyway mate when shooting any rifle. If you pull the rifle too tight into your body your muscles are put under un needed pressure and you are stopping the rifle recoiling correctly which is what it was designed to do. All you need to do is relax when you are shooting. The word relax says it all mate and if you can manage to do this then you are not stopping recoil and you will improve. Si
  10. Yep i surpose New York isnt the biggest hunting place in the world I know what you mean about Florida though pal. Thats where i went and like you said WOW, hunting heaven. If i lived in America id get right into that bow hunting lark. I love watching it on YouTube. Si
  11. Thats a simple answer pal Weihrauch HW95K Light, quiet, deadly accurate and will push out 11.2 to 11.9 easily with the right pellets. Si

  14. Not good news that Wrowmon Its just what we dont want as air rifles hunters to happen to us EVER. If anything was to give your company a bad name that would buddy DEFO. I think if it would of been me with your friend, I would of asked him to retrieve the dead birds and would of shot them myself mate 8 ft/lbs is ideal for shooting pigeons at close range if you are able to put the pellet into a reconised kill zone. More than 8 ft/lbs can sometimes go straight through the bird and cause more damage. I tend to shoot close range pigeons in a building in the heart as it gu
  15. Cheers Kev buddy You cant beat a good springer mate. This AA Pro Sport is a keeper for life like my R10 and HW100KT. Si
  16. If i was you Stealthy i would give it a good sorting and get it back or better than it was when you first bought it. I love a HW springer. You ever thought of V-Maching it buddy? Ive heard good things about it but never really shot a HW with it done. Si

  18. :welcomeani: Wrow buddy, I look forward to reading your posts pal. Was you meaning you had the stock of a Webley Tracer or the whole rifle The reason i ask is that i know someone on here that really wants a Webley Tracker Zini
  19. Yes Moocher i agree mate I started on springers and shot them for about 20 to 21 years before i really got into PCPs. I owned PCPs before that time though, but used to shoot spingers more often than them. Si
