  1. Turn them both upside down and look at the bottom of them both. You will then see for yourself mate.
  2. When the warmer weather comes Phil we will have to go outside on the 55 yard range
  3. No I agree Fry, so hassle free and free air. I got the 98 properly calibrated yesterday phil to 65 yards on Davy's range. It did very well :-)
  4. Nice photo mate and good bag too.
  5. Lovely bag mate. Nice to see a different rifle being used too on here. Would like to try a Diana myself one day. Si.
  6. Good to see the old lady can still turn a few heads mate. Well done.
  7. Very nice Aaron, that HW97KT seems to be getting alot of attention these days mate. Dont forget your poor HW100 and Airwolf lol. You just cant put it down can you mate? Cant blame you either mate. Si.
  8. Very good Phil. It doesn't really get any better does it mate. Phil was on fire last night winning 3 - 1 against me in the 29 meter super small spinner comp (half the size of a 5p when on target number 5 and still only 5p size on target 4). He then draw with me and came joint first in the same comp but standing unsupported getting to level 4 with Malc Barnard coming a very close second at level 3. The only thing I actually beat him in last night was the 15 meter standing unsupported group comp we had with Malc aswell. 10 shots into a card and the highest points and tightest gr
  9. Lee different pellet brands, weights and diameters will all make a rifle change in power. Also a new rifle just off the shelf will be different in power, usually lower, than that rifle when its shot 1000 pellets through its barrel. For best results with a spring piston rifle I find from 10 to 11.5 foot pounds energy FPE is the best, preferably 10.1 to 10.5 for me as the rifle is safely legal and usually less in recoil making accuracy easier. A rifle at these power readings will do absolutely everything a rifle at 11.9 FPE will do. One of my rifles is doing 9.4 FPE and will
  10. No problems Nigel. I hope it helps you out mate.
  11. Here lads, For the ones who are interested in calibration and Chair Gun Pro, here is a template that i have produced to assist in gathering your own information when working out the BC of your pellet. Its simple to use. 1. Zero at your preferred zero range as normal making sure that you get 3 pellets on top of each other. 2. Move this sheet to either 40, 45 or 50 yards and place it with a safe back stop. 3. Putting the cross hair on the center of the red circle, fire 5 shots as steady as you can. 4. Once you have the 5 shots on the sheet find the average point of the gr
  12. Sounds like you had a good shoot mate. The wind can be naughty when your used to shooting a larger caliber rifle. Well done on the kit. As long as the farmer is happy he isnt to know what you didn't decide to shoot.
  13. Great news mate. Davy's a good man. They are awesome rifles. So accurate its got to be witnessed to be believed due to there price once inbthe sweet spot and matched with the right pellet. The 4 brands I would seriously look at are: JSB Exacts at 4.53mm, AA Fields at 4.52mm, RWS Super Fields at 4.52mm and Bisley Magnums. These brands are really good in most Ultras
  14. Its brilliant that your taking the time and effort Mac to teach your grandson. I think its something I would do with mine too when I get some. The Ultra seems to be made just perfecr for the smaller adults and younger shooters with accuracy to match most pcps costing 3 to 4 times its price. Ive had 3 or 4 of them now in the past and got the Ultrs SE now. I think there is always going to be a place for one in my gun cabinet. Well done again little Hunter. Cracking shooting mate. Its much better than COD on play station.
  15. The half mildot with a .177 mate. The MAP is good but as someone as already said it isn't as flexible as a HMD.
  16. Edited You should of give him a number of one of your contacts on your phone Phil then he could have tuned it for him with a plastic coke bottle .
  17. First time I have used it today, seems a little down on power over the crono (10.5458) average over thirty shots, but does not seem to effect the accuracy. Blimey Nigel 10.54 FPE . I would be over the moon with that pal I really would. You will find that the SE will work very well and is very accurate with the right pellet at that power. My wives SE loves AA Fields. I fill hers to around 190 to 200 bar if i remember correctly which puts the rifle straight in the sweet spot. Si.
  18. Yeah he said he shot a bunny last week at 75 yards standing unsupported at the club . Got to take your hat off to that type of skill. You put that on some of the other forums they would laugh at you and say it cant be done ,just shows you what can be done Yeah i know what you mean VM. If i practiced for 6 years day in and day out i would hope that i could shoot a hell of a lot better than the average man with a air rifle. We didnt see him do it but i dont think he needed to lie looking at his groups tonight with his AA S400 as they were very nice. Its a case of peopl
  19. Thanks Timmy that's very kind of you mate and one i will defo take you up on. I would defo get another AA Pro Sport in the future as they are by far the best springer out the box IMO. I think i would get another .22 Pro Sport though like my old one mate as i prefer .22 better for my type of hunting and shooting and stick a SR Pro scope on it.
  20. Yeah he said he shot a bunny last week at 75 yards standing unsupported at the club . Got to take your hat off to that type of skill.
  21. I think so VM mate. Got me thinking now.
  22. Thats really good to read mate. Maybe HW do monitor certain forums. Congrats on getting one of the top springers on the market mate.
