I will get a shot of it later Timmy as Phil as just offered to take me out hunting on his permission later on. From what Phil tells me via Whatapp you are a PS guru mate. Good on you Timmy for helping out Phil. Mr T I will let you tell the forum who won the .22 SFS S2 tuned HW97KT HFT comp we had today . Is that 6 - 1 now .

Im taking my .22 HW97KT and my .177 HW98 Rob. The 3 pcps never get a look in these days unless im ratting or shooting bunnies at night from a vehicle. The springers are just great and rewarding to shoot.

Come on Mike, get some photos up.

Nicely done Tom. I bet mr corvid thought that he was going to be in for his usual free egg meal before THWACK lol. I watched a few crow landing around our hotel in Turkey last week. They waited till the holiday makers had all left the pool in the evening then landed and picked up food or what ever they could find. Bold as brass. I thought then how I could of spoilt their evening if I would have had my Spectre with me. The looks well too. Si.

Lol mr T. Yep credit due there partner. You shot like a demon on that AA meet and after no sleep too. Spring rifles ruled that weekend. If you shoot like that this year at HFT you will smash 4th place peace of p-ss. See you at Old Down Pursuits later this morning.

Yeah the Accupells were what Mawders said he got the best results with when he owned it Steve. They were very tight but the AA for me just snuck it by a mm or 2. To be honest both brands were well under sub 1/2 the size of a 5p.

Lol Davy. Yeah I do believe a springer will shoot as accurate as a pcp when you let it recoil and keep the same hold for every shot. Not as easy to do as written though and takes some stressful hours of practice. Thats what makes them so rewarding though when everything pays off.

Thanks Aaron. We have started doing some filming for the HW98 review mate. Ive shown Phil Mawders a group I shot with it that we filmed outside in a slight breeze too at Davy's club. It was really tiny mate and me and Davy agreed it could of been even tighter in no breeze. It managed to hit some very tiny rectangular spinners that were sat on this yellow RSJ at 60 meters with ease.

It was 27.3 yards Aaron buddy. 25 meters. I dont think so Aaron, I think the HW98 is going to be my HFT rifle. The HW98 is amazing mate. Infact i would say stupidly accurate now Davy as dropped it to 9.4 FPE. Its also quite a bit smoother than the .177 HW97KT as it stands with quite a lot less recoil due to having the small SFS Webley Vulcan spring in it. I may use the 97kt as my hunting .177 springer for night times or a stand in HFT springer.

After getting the rifle from Phil (Mawders) a few days ago i decided to try it out at my local club. Did some pellet testing with Webley Accupells, RWS Super Domes, AA Fields, Falcon AP and H & N FTT. The AA Fields seemed to group the best for me with Accupells coming a close second. Not sure how they will do at 50 meters but i will test them when we do the review. I'm very happy with it and i think after it shoots another couple of tins it will have settled down really well. After this test 6 shot group was shot i finely adjusted the scope another 2 clicks left and 2 c

Sunday Rob I think.

Nice treat that Mac. I bet the little one is made up. Great rifle is the Ultra. What you using in it? My mrs likes AA Fields.
-
Nice Rob. Well chuffed for you.
-
Your going to be another happy customer and can just feel it Rob. Pass on my regards to Tony please pal. Si.
-
Nice work lads. Glad the .22 crow sport is earning its keep mate.
-
I would say the Pro Sport is just as accurate as the 97kt. The difference is in the refinement of the internals of the S2 tune and the smoothness of the cocking, firing and overal rifles harmonics. The Pro Sport wins hands down though in the looks department. I dont think there is a rifle out there thats better looking. I saw a group that Phil shot with my old Pro Sport on his phone and I have to say it couldnt really be improved on by any rifle, pcp included. They are awesome rifles and Phil shoots that one as good as it gets.

Nice little tail mate. I find that kits seem to jump about alot more than adults Elliott even when they are hit in the KZ. Not sure why.
-
Brilliant news Steve. Im so pleased that you are finally happy with your spring rifles of choice. Im glad that the SFS rifle is serving you well mate and long will it for ages to come.
-
Ummm John as a javelin comes diwn at you in verticle mode lol. No hiding from that mr lol.
-
HI Steve, Im leaving it just as it is mate. How you getting on with yours buddy? You still happy with the results your getting?

That's something that I've already thought about doing Skot. Well not a comparison at the moment but a review of it. It wouldn't be fair to compare it against my .22 HW97KT mate with all the pellets I've fired through it (a guessed over 9000). The .22 is very well bedded in and after Davy dropped it to 10.16 FPE its silky smooth to cock and shoot. It will keep up with my HW100KT every day of the week. Maybe in another 6 months to a year ill do the comparison mate once the rifle is totally settled and fired a lot more pellets.

Just like to say what a good bloke Phil is to deal with. After he used my new .177 Pro Sport for the past 2 weeks he decided that it was just the right weight and balance for his frame and build and that he really did gel with it shooting some very nice 1 pellet hole size groups with it. He also loves the pretty walnut stock and quality chequering that it bears. Well he wanted to know if i fancied doing a swap plus £50 notes for his new Sandwell Field Sports stage 2 tuned HW97KT as it was just a bit too heavy and didn't fit him as well as the Pro Sport does. Being a huge fan of
