  1. Thanks Mick, Yeah it was real good of KPS Hunters to invite us up to their great rat shooting permission. Si.
  2. Its done now skot less the intro. Blame Mr T. Hes taking his time.
  3. Well done Skot and with a quality springer too.
  4. Very nice Darryl buddy. You certainly get your hands on some fine kit. Si.
  5. Yeah I took the 97 and Spectre to the club tonight mate. Ive put the HW silencer back on the Spectre and using AA Field pellets its stupidly accurate now at 10.7 FPE. It hates H and N now though and will only group at best 6cm at 27 yards. I think it down to the harder lead on the skirts of the H and N not deforming into the lans and grooves of the rifleing aswell at a lower power. I shot a 20 shot group at 27 yards that stayed under a 1p tonight with the Spectre using AA Fields. Next time I come shooting with you the Spectre is coming out to play.
  6. Thanks Aaron mate . Ill see you a week on Sat buddy . Dont forget your fancy dress .
  7. Its even better than before now though partner after the DavyT63 magic was placed on it taking it to 9.4FPE.
  8. For anyone who is interested. Si.
  9. For HFT if Im honest and not just saying it the HW98 is a dream mate and I would choose it over the 97KT now after having one that Tony has tuned. I ordered the 98 but got a BSA Meteor or Webley Vulcan spring fitted by Tony (cant remember which he said). Its just silk at 9.4 FPE to cock and the recoil is silly nothing. Its so accurate now i cant believe it. Si.
  10. Before being a hunter and plinker I thought HFT would be boring but I have to say its awesome and I do it now whenever I can. Improves your technique 100% plus you learn tips from other far better than yourself. Si.
  11. A stage 2 is always going to be better mate due to the extra work. After speaking to quite a few winners and champions at HFT this past 3 months it turns out that around 8 FPE to 10 FPE is the best power for accuracy using lead pellets. With more especially with a springer the recoil effects accuracy which a hunter would not really feel as they work on 2.5 cm kill zones or grouping inside a 2p where a HFT champion works to tolerances of less than 1.5 cm and needs the best from their rifle. All my springers are now either in 9s or low to middle 10s now less my HW35 which is about 11
  12. Hi lads, Id just like to say a big thanks to Davy for taking the time yesterday to lower the power on my 98. After running in at 11.3FPE I decided I wanted it lowering as it is my main HFT rifle to between 8 and 10 FPE. Davy stripped and removed a coil for me as shown and taught by John at SFS and degreased and regreased it. Its now shooting brilliantly with a chronoed total deviation over 15 shots of 0.2 of a FPE at 9.4 FPE. Now with Falcon AP pellets it does this pretty easily. Mauders shot it last night too and commented that it recoils even less than his S2 tuned 9
  13. My tuned result last night at Glevum shooting club. Got to love SFS.
  14. Brilliant shooting there. I see a rising star and marksman. Keep at it and you will be out shooting us all.
  15. Yes it does effect a springer Skot. I have a clip that SFS sent me of a experiment they did with Davys VHTV Spectre. Room temp chrono results followed by 7 hours in a cold room. After 7 hours in a really cold room the power dropped for about 3 to 5 shots before returning to what it was. Its something to do with gun grease and the piston head.
  16. Thanks everyone for the comments. We just wanted to do something different on the channel and now that SFS sponsors VHTV plus SFS as been mentioned in a few posts on here it worked out great to pick up my rifles and speak to Tony at the same time. Regarding the tuned HW98, well its something special indeed. After taking it to my local gun club yesterday to try some different pellets in it at 25 and 29 meters it just blew me away. The 2 groups I shot were dare I say it has good as i could of done with my HW100KT or Laura's BSA Ultra SE. I know that sounds bull s-it but its the
  17. Hi there lads, In these 2 episodes of VHTV (parts 1 and 2) I take another trip up to see my good friend and now other VHTV’s new channel sponsor, Tony Wall at Sandwell Field Sports. The aim of the morning was to pick up 2 rifles myself and look at what’s new for sale in his shop while getting his own views on different brand rifles that are sold in his shop at a budget price. Please enjoy and don’t forget to give us a big thumbs up if you like the episodes. Si & Davy Part 1 Part 2
  18. Its defo got to be up there with the best of them mate, especially once tuned by a good tuner.
  19. Another vote here for a Weihrauch. The HW97 is amazing and will serve you very well.
