    Hi VM, Yes mate after the chrono near and far test that we did the BC of Falcon AP pellets in .177 is 0.0223. Handy for those that use CGP.

    37 or 38 is still very respectable Skot with a .22 and its trajectory.

    This is very true Skot. HFT is a lot about the judging of distance as well as the normal stuff involved in making a correct shot. When we hunt a lot of us use lasers which take this problem away from us. Ive heard people call HFT a game before and in some ways it is. Not being able to adjust your AO or adjust your magnification also adds to the whole HFT problem and makes it totally different from hunting where you would move in to position with all your scope and rifle being set for that shot and in focus.

    You all did very very well. Everyone of you did yourself proud in them winds. One of the first times I ever tried HFT I only scored 37 in calm conditions with a Tench tuned and regged Ultra so for you lads to score 40 and up with a springer in that wind is a real credit to yourselves.

    Here is the clip from Sunday 9th June where some of the members of the Airgun Section met up at Old Down Pursuits HFT club for a quick zero, bit of banter and a mini friendly HFT comp. Congratulations to all the winners and members for getting excellent scores in as you will see a very nasty wind. After editing the video that i filmed from the group that i was shooting in (me, Davy and Simon) I noticed as you will also that at least 2 of the targets were faulty and were hit cleanly by Davy but did not go down.     Hi lads i cant reiterate whats already been said enough. Today was a quality day with some seriously good shooters coping with a hideous wind, but all gaining a great score under the circumstances. The video is now edited (4 hours of pain) and is now uploading to YouTube.     Thats the reality of life mate. I think the problem is the fact that sometimes when you shoot a rat in the brain, its brain dead and feeling no pain as its brain and skull are smashed to bits but they riddle with nerves giving off signals still due to muscle memory, trying to connect to the brain. People who dont understand this see this as animal cruelty and think they are saving the world by reporting you.
