  1. I have a .22lr Ruger 10/22 Semi Auto and a CZ Silhouette .17HMR Bolt Action, i can tell you for your situation you will prefer the .17HMR. It is just so much more accurate than the 10/22 that the extra noise and non semi auto is more than made up for by the incredable accuracy out to around 130meters. With the 10/22 you might consider keeping the shots below 75meters, Having said that the Ruger is still a great gun once you've found the right ammo (eley subsonic) for rabbit shooting Your FAC will probably be accepted and is certainly worth applying for with your land, just need to de
  2. I have about 25 acres very hilly, have .17hmr and .22lr and soon a .308 atb jrc
  3. They sure are good Riohog, i also find winchesters eject well too. yep all cci , winchester and eley eject well in my 10/22 - no jams at all in over 500rounds with these - not even 1. rws jams every single time though lol have chosen eley for accuracy very good
  4. had a similar thing, gave him a ring and everything was sorted in a few days, arrived no problems very happy here~: +1-607-821-1210
  5. The Ruger 10/22 is a great gun , mine has never jammed either (using eley subsonics) and even remington thunderbolts (cheap) feed 100% perfectly. it doesnt jam at all like some people seem to think I think its 10x better than a bolt action For a bolt action though the CZ is your choice (my Cz is in .17HMR) ----------------------------------- My CZ and Ruger .17HMR CZ 452 ZKM Silhouette 22.5" Bolt Action Rimfire Rifle 245ft/lbs 2550fps MTC Optics 6-24X56 Viper 30mm Side Parralex Adjustable Illuminated Scope Harris Engineering Swivel Base 9-13" Type S Bipod
  6. Thanks everyone for your advice, it sounds like its not really an option to go for the .308 (for fox control only). I think i will apply for the .223 for fox control now, and apply for the .308 later, thank again!!
  7. I have been considering getting a .308 for fox control, but it seems that while poeple consider it an acceptable calibre to use, it would not be passed purely for fox control without deer control also being present. The main reason for wanting a .308 over somthing more suited to just fox control such as the .223, is that I hope to also use if for deer control in the future. Any feedback would be great.
