  1. i have one, its excellent for the price can recommend. very powerful do you think its as powerfull as the striker also where are the makers from i dont have a striker , but it is 1,000,000 candle power , same as the striker - so id say it is. it doesnt have variable power, so thats why its cheaper They are made in austrialia - sometimes used as extra powerful land rover headlights over there ATB

  3. how much did you get the anchutz for and how much was the scope? just interested, cheers
  4. .17HMR Great round can recommend it, ok out to 150+ yards for rabbits, can also take foxes at closer ranges. .22LR is another choice, would be good also - has less range although the ammo is cheaper. CZ make some very good rimfire rifles I have a .17HMR (in sig) , and have a spare slot for a .22LR which I'll get in a little while, a semi automatic Ruger 10/22 synthetic blued. ATB
  5. Looks nice The .17HMR is a really good round
  6. Just use http://tinypic.com/ much simpler Just browse to where the picture file is, and choose the option from the drop down menu to resize the picture to 640x480 for Message Boards - then click Upload Now ATB

  14. well if ur trying to make yourself look big in the airgun section with your 17hmr thats all very well but it looks like a gat gun compared with my 300 win mag . i wouldnt want it for rabbit shooting i assume thats what the topic is about how much is 300win ammo , just out of interest? Air gun hunting needs to be within 20 yards.come on mate get real.atb.catcher fair enough, 35 yards more reasonable?

  16. i would go for 245 ft/lbs every time .17HMR 150yards range and still hits at over 100 ft/lbs Airgun hunting need to be within 20yards ideally - for a good respectful kill ATB
  17. what did you use the .22 or the .17hmr?
  18. Yes you Need swivel, unless you only use the bipod off a bench/solid level platform
  19. Mine is fitted to the brick chimney in my timber-framed house using 4 rawlbolts M 8 The FEO also said fitting to a load boaring solid wooden beam using coachscrews would also be fine. Basically you can you use anything, you just need to make it secure enough.
  20. Harris Engineering Swivel Base 9-13" Type S Bipod from http://www.airgunbuyer.com/ at the bottom of their special offer page. £72.95 Brand New Bargain
  21. CZ 452 Silhouette 22.5" Rifle .17HMR 245ft/lbs 2550fps Very good
  22. Yes you can get a FAC rated shotgun. but you still have to prove you need one. You are stillplaced under the same restrictions as with a firearm.. ie if you do not have an open licence, every bit of land has to be approved. Also if you prove you need one for pigeon..you cant use it for rabbit unless it is listed on your ticket. IMHO you wont get one..... Just get an SGC. If you have FAC, they basically can't not give you an SGC. Matt Hi Matt, stupid question, how do i know if i have an open licence? i have looked at my licence, it does not say anywhere on it that i have to s
