    Is there really any point having a 8-32x60 scope on an air rifle thats only 12ft/lbs? I mean it can only shoot out to about 40m, I would've though 3-9x40 would be plenty. Still I suppose it cant hurt :clapper:

    Wow yeah, theres now one on there (New CZ .17 HMR 452 Silhoutte 20" Barrel) for £275! from Continental Shooting Supplies, in Ayrshire like you said. Here is their website www.continentalshooting.co.uk Looks like I may have saved myself £100 Thaanks!

    I think this is a picture of a CZ .17HMR Silhouette - finally found one looking on guntrader (thanks for that) , although this one has a 16" barrel. On gun trader the cheapest new one (CZ .17HMR Silhouette 20" Barrel) is £320 from Wiltshire Shoting Centre, so i think £300 is reasonable price to try and get.

    So would you say £300 is a resonable price to try to get the gun for? or £325 perhaps? Do you think you could post a picture of your cz .17hmr silhouette? I cant seem to find a picture of it anywhere , maybe because its still a bit rare. All I see is the .22lr version. It would be nice to see what it actully looks like before i tell them to order one in. Thanks for your help Also a fair price for a new ruger 10/22 black synthetic .22lr would be good , as I will get them both - best price so far is £250 , any good? Thanks again

    The varmint is quite alot cheaper if I remember rightly. Also dont need any extras I'll get them very cheap elsewhere So how much would anyone pay for this particular rifle?     Hi all My local gun shop have offered me £375 for a new CZ .17HMR Silhouette 20" Barrel Is this a good price? What would you pay for one? Thanks for the help

    hi i need either a 22lr or .17hmr (prefereable both) for rabbit shooting on my land. i have tried using a .22 air rifle but it doesnt have the required range or accuracy. i have 18 acres overall would this be enough to apply for an FAC? the land is split up into several peices: one 6.5acre field, one 3 acre field, one 5 acre field and one 2 acre bit of woodland. the land is quite hilly so shooting into the ground should provide a safe a backstop let me know what you think, any help would be great! alex

Has anyone heard of fake Tasco scopes before? I only ask as I think a 6-24x50 scope selling at £40 delivered (to uk from china) is pretty cheap! Also I havnt even seen a 6-24x50 Tasco , im not sure
