  1. I bought an S410 on the site a few months back, It came with a Harris Bipod which I have removed as I find the gun better suited to me without it - £35 posted. Cheers FF
  2. Pm Me, I cant pm anyone for some reason
  3. I saw a post where Stubby was ferreting with someone with Albino ferrets similiar to his, and too avoid getting them mixed up, he sprayed his on the tail with that cheap pink hair spray stuff, Worked well
  4. Theres nothing special about his nets, there hand made Long Nets set on hazel poles, He recommends using a long run of cord and tying the footline up to the head line with a 1/2 granny knot and dropping it like a drop net.
  5. The quickset works the same regardless of where you use it...Be it a bush, hedge or ditch, it goes out and goes back in exactly the same every time Quite simple to use From a Basket. I Assume you have two White end Poles Attached to your Net.Put the White Pole into the Ground and walk away from it.When it comes to the next pole it will stop when it touches the Stops on the Basket.Put that in the Ground, then carry on with this action until you get to the Other White Pole.Your net is then Set.When lifting the net pick up the White pole and feed the net into the Basket,Carry on like t
  6. I have a couple that have had a day out, But I couldnt say there working as such, I just took a few of them to a ditch one day locally and let them bolt a few rabbits out for the dog.
  7. I have a few ferrets left from this years litter, They were kept back for a man who messed about and wasted my time and didnt take them in the end - There well handled, and in great condition! £15, can meet within reason.
  8. I snipped the wires, and soldered on ring crimps, I was wasting too much time looking for them other things, If I come across them I'll chnage them, But for now, these will do, too much lamping to do!
  9. Thats the ones everyone showed me, But its not them! There similiar to yours, they bolt on in the ring, but instead if crimping the wire to to them, there should be a spade where I can push my female terminals onto! My other battery has them, But its getting fixed at the minute
  10. My last battery packed in, So I bought another, Not a deben one this time, I got a 22ah 12v from ebay for half the price, Anyway, I got the battery, and the deben connector so I can plug either the charger or the lamp socket on it, My only trouble has been finding the right connectors that bolt onto the battery and then accept the female spade ends from the deben connector - I have been to a few electrical joints this evening, But nobody had them or knew what the were, I have attached a picture so you can see, Basically, I need a small male spade connector with a bolt on ring, So I can bolt it
  11. I know of one, I only saw him run rabbits, But he was also a fantastic Deer dog before the Ban, he looks identical to J Darcys dog Scooby
  12. Lovely ferret....I wish I could get my hands on a small Hob! Did anybody see James Bradleys small ferrets in the Few Ferrets More dvd? The Hob on that was brilliant, like a Hamster!
  13. Im not looking to buy one, I was just interested in why he was selling them, In any of his books I have read, he states that the wild polecat is a European Polecat and that a ferret, that I would call a polecat, Is not a polecat, Its a polecat coloured domesticated ferret! So if he's saying that, that means he's selling European Polecats, which he says are wild polecats....?
  14. I dont know how much they are, I just saw the Advert, European Polecats, James McKay
  15. I saw James McKay has advertised European Polecats in the CMW, Does anyone know anything about them and why anyone would keep them? Are they used for hunting or just as "Pets" I know they are very skittish and hard to handle as well, But I was interested as to why he breeds and sells them and why people keep them. Is it necessary to have a license as well to keep one?
  16. I got shot in the leg by a .22 rifle - Nice! I have still have the scar, perfect round hole.
  17. Well spotted, I didnt notice as they look identical, Anything before 92 is Working Terrier and the Running Dog magazine - Theres about 3 or 4
  18. I have 15 EDRD magazines from between 1990 - 2004, They are priced on the cover between £1.20 and £3.00, I will take £35 for the lot. Northern Ireland - They are back up due to a complete time waster, you know who you are! No 144 No 73 No 94 No 13 No 97 No 53 No 18 No 67 No 69 No 16 No 140 No 72 No 12 No 95 No 138
