You're 100% right Andy . If I pick up another gun like say my old webley Vulcan, its obvioulsy lighter and the stock feels like a gunstock I get on well with it. the Ranger on the other hand it pretty bulky! the fore end doesn't feel right due to this bloody great bottle and Bipod bolted to it, I have to say from shooting a gun freehand this Ranger is the most uncomfortable rifle I have shot. Its funny Andy even though I have always had a gun since I was a lad I can't honestly I have been in the zone! if you know what I mean? there's was a good few years I was into my Shotty and didn't rea

100% Agree Lanesra . he should have taken it on the chin from the start, It would have been virtually done and dusted by now. Giggsy has always been my favourite MUFC player since he hit the scene as a young lad, he seemed to have his head on straight and stayed out of the limelight but now! this will be embarrasing to him for the rest of his life...

tell me about it mate. Its annoying as I normaly zero the gun at around 40 yds, I noticed if the angle is different shooting high up into the canopy of the trees then boy does the POI change? I expect it to change a bit but I feel I'm not looking square through the scope as with other shots... Jasp

you do get the impresion that Abramovich has a say in the team sheet and the running of the team . any manager should be left to do his job! Manage? somehow I don't think the last few managers at chelsea have been allowed to genuinly do that? it also seems Abramovich picks who he wants when it comes to transfers....

Thanks for the input guys! I think I have a genuine bad parallax problem so I'll probably give one a go in the future as who know I might get on with it . I tried doing all the normal Parallax adjustments by the rule book and yet still find I have this problem which shows up at different ranges... atb Jasp

My Missus Misses Regular when she has a go with the rifle as for me? Never Must say I find this gun has a sweetspot and performs at its best at around 150BAR, if I miss anywhere above or below this charge limit its obviously the guns fault not mine . I missed a sitter squirrel the other day Tony! he was behind the aviaries so I went on a seek and destroy mission, I waited until he skipped up off the floor and presentd me a lovely clear side view shot! I have a male here Mick that I kept back in 2004 for my lad, I only flew him for a couple of months at the most as he totaly lost interest . I finally loaned him to pal who had him up until last year for flying, by all accounts he was taking Bunny's and Hunting best at around 1.9! no doubt he'll fly heavier than this but it sounds like this is roughly his Hunting weight. I weighed him when I got him back and he was a tad over 1.13 . Jasp

Spot on Banjo! she's a real credit to you mate wish all of them went to falconers as commited as yourself. Mick1212 they all come out different with some females and males making way above average weights and other's which are still a decent size! but certainly not all as big as Banjo's. the mother to the pair is a very large bird who is 17 now, the father on the other hand is pretty average and was originaly imported in by the BFC a good few years ago for their old apprentiship scheme, I picked him up when he was a few years old and now he around 21 years old and still doing the

Advice on my Sons First Air Rifle

My first Air Rifle was a old .22 Milbro handed down to me by my brother. couldn't tell you how old I was but I didn't have the strength to pull the barrel down or reach the trigger when the stock was in my shoulder, I ended up resting the stock on the top of my shoulder which was not wise . Must say the BSA Lightning is a nice little gun with plenty of power as is the Meteor Jasp -

You'll get a hell of alot more shots than I do Millsy with the 500cc Bottle . Mines the 400cc and I average around 240 in .177. Must say though pal they're a lovely rifle and certainly pretty consistantly devastating when zeroe'd in. definitely one of my Favourites.... stick a pic up when you get 5 mins Jasp
