so would I! doubt weather they would have many feathers left traveling at that speed. when I was a lad I used to bike dopwn the road on my Cowhorn pushbike and the jackdaw would follow me roof to roof glideing down and landing on my shoulder, I even remember walking out of school to get the bird home when my Jackdaw was sitting on the school roof .

I used to have a Jackdaws when I was lad! they was cracking pets when I was kid and would follow me everywhere. they would follow me on my pushbike and also to school if they saw me walking down the road. It was no different with the magpies! a pal had a Magpie and another had a Jay, the Magpie tamed up just like the Jackdaws but the jay for some reason wasn't quite so tame. personaly I would rear them in a creche if you are going to let them go at a later date so they Imprint on each other . Its a hard one mate as we probably wouldn't be allowed to get away with the same things as these Demonstrators . whatever said and done it was only the EDL who made a showing at this demo! they even burned a effigy of Osama Bin Laden . the fact someone made a stand and demonstrated back in support of this country means somthing....
-
They demonstrate in our own country backing a terrorist and we allow them to do it! to rub it in further they also did it on the 7/7 inquest . what more proof does this Government need to prove they do actually hate us and everything the UK stands for, yet they are still allowed to publicly put us down time and time again on our own shores. somehow I couldn't imagine them getting away with such a demonstation in the USA, Only in this country we allow ethnics to shit on us time and time again....

they've been demo'ing all over the world supporting Bin Layden . still nice to see the EDL make a stand in London Demo's

Bang On. Had this happen a few times Arctic I used silkies in the past to cover eggs when they've gone broody but the eggs I was running pip at around 32 days, I noticed she was getting restless at round 15 - 20 days so they was placed in the Inc. I think all Incubators are a good means to an end but can be a bit hit and miss if eggs are Fresh and not being weighed down. I try to get around 8 - 10 days good natural Incubation then place them in the Inc to finish them off! it definitely improves the hatch rate after some good natural incubation. weighing fresh eggs also puts you in

thanks for the info Bob Out of interest while doing pellet trials which pellet did you find most consistant? I ask as I tried a few out in this gun which seemed very choosey. I finally narrowed it down to H&N Field Target Trophy in .177 but I'm always willing to try other pellets if there is a improvement atb Jasper

What was your main quarry Jasper? He caught an incedible mix of quarry BAW includeing plenty of Bunnnies but because he was so strong and fit he was a pretty handy game killer. many a time I saw him sit just below the arse of good strong pheasants after a good slip and nail them just as they sat on their wings for the put in! seen him crash through the branches when they was taken close to the woods wondering if he was still alive when I got there. also saw the same bird take crows coming into roost cutting low over the headland,, these birds was already on the wing and a good 100 o

I used to have a male Finn Goshawk in the earley 90's called "Jasper". back then I was on a mission with him and alot fitter and enthusiastic flying near on 6 days a week if possible through the season. as expected flying him regular got him fit chaseing game and me fit keeping up with him. Its simples really! I now know I will never make a bird anywhere near as good as him mainly down to time and the commitment and I suppose enthusiasm to get out 6 days a week. No doubt about he was a killing machine of the likes I'll never have again! he was a very special bird to me not only in the

I shoot a .177 and prefer this calibre mainly because: 1 = Its a Girly Calibre and I'm a bit that way Inclined  2 = Pellets are cheaper 3 = Flatter Trajectory 4 = Its travels Faster 5 = Its got more FPS that a .22 at the same 12ft/lbs limit 6 = You need less holdover at Range 7 = Personaly I think it has more Penetration and my wife tells me good penetration is everything Jasp

Nice one simon . I have a 1985 77K here and a MK2 Webley Vulcan but they're both in that Girly .22 calibre . joking the part I must say shooting the springers does bring back the feeling of a real gun that hits me in the shoulder . I quite fancy them AA prosports! but I'm a lefty and would have to have a special order, I would much prefer a Ambi stock if I can get one so my lad could use it. atb Jasp I remember it well Al! the stealth looks a nice well built rugged peice of kit, a proper keepers gun. I still think mate some of the old springers from the 70's and 's take

You have to laugh at our Government . just read in the link below that Cameron gave Pakistan 650 Million in aid which they didn't need! they are also the country that seems to have been harbouring Bin Layden all this time . all the cutbacks we have had in this country plus the 20% raise in VAT is all so he can give it away, basically f**k this country lets give it all to Pakistan .. 650 Million aid to pakistan

Must admit mate the Mags on this gun are a little disapointing, I stripped it out last night and bent the undex'er back to roughly where it should be, I'll give it a few shots today and see if its cured it, this was a Mag I had given to me and definitley had a bit more wear than the original sean. I do fancy a different gun now to be honest! I find this pretty heavy shooting freehand weighing in at near on 11LB with equipment, its alot for someone like me who only weigh 7 1/2 stone of solid rippling muscle atb Jasp

100% agree ! he should have been taken alive and executed, this would have been all the living proof everyone needed plus Al Queda would have been hurt much more seen their top brass taken down and executed. at the moment their is too much mystique about the whole thing and what really happend.
