  1. Yammy OWO1 brings back some memories Andy! remember wanting one of them as soon as I clapped eyes on one . a Pal had a FZR1000EXUP a good few years ago which had been tweaked here and there, he also before that had a GSX1100. I rode the GSR and went on the back of both bikes but have to say the EXUP was pretty lethal. Another bike that would of gargled piss for many years ago was the Yammy RD500, what a 2 stroke monster .......
  2. Its funny you say that Lanesra when we moved in there was a old compost heap there already well rotton down, the wife just added to it but it wouldn't surprise me if they didn't use it. we found a large dead one pretty decomposed near the heap but this is the first live one seen here. there's a wood not far from here full of them, I used to take the kids through their earlet may time and always catch one or two and even some bound together! here's a few pic's from a few years back. Jasp
  3. One lucky fella always loved watching the bike racing expecialy the isle of man. the onboard footage certainly make the hairs stand up on the back of the neck ........
  4. they're a bit bigger than the puny snakes around here Mackem think I would have legged it if I had one of them in the outhouse......
  5. Tell me about it mate! The wife stinks anyhow but boy did she hum more than usual Is that a Sand Lizzard Carragh? we used to catch them when we was kids near a old sand quarry
  6. she practices regular wrestling with one eyed bed snakes LR I love to see them Mackem and the Adders found a dead Grass snake when we first moved in not far from the area this one was caught. it used to be a old pit with water in and still a bit swampy in areas, its also full of frogs and toads this time of the year which probably atracts the snakes.
  7. thought the wife would have called me but she came walking in the house with it. mind you she has had her hands round some pretty thick snakes in her time Jasp
  8. The wife was down the veg patch earlier and came across this grass snake squeezing through some fine netting she put over the strawberries. I'm thinking perhaps it came out of her compost heap?. Not seen any around here before! nice to know they're about Jasper
  9. You can count on one hand how many we did this year mate! been looking to cut back on Goshawks completely in favour of straight Peregrines for a couple of years now, it was obviouse how things was going but it seems its happening much quicker. we'll be finished with the Goshawks hopefully sooner rather than later. thankfully over the years we kept back stock from the old breeding pair of Peregrines, they're good sized genuine pure stock which we'll now be concentrating more on these.
  10. Its a pretty safe bet I would say. looks like there's plenty around to choose from judging from all the adverts Jasper
  11. Nowt wrong with banter and some piss taking! had so much piss taken out of me in the past there's now f**k all left . probably the worst thing anyone can do is bite or take the bait! anyone who gets the arse have effectivly lost out bigtime.

Bradley Smith is my missus cousins lad! we hear about him all the time from the time he moved to spain on the 125's to now . some cracking racing on yesterday even though they was all a washout. Got to give it to Button! never really rated him as a racer but he drove a cracker yesterday . Still think Lorenzo will take the Yammy to another title
  17. spot on Ossie it was a blue AP50 . think he ported it and changed the front sprocket up another couple of teeth, it stretched the gears out a bit but took forever to get there. Must say I still prefered the little Yammy over all of them Jasp
  18. she just told me the Tatties she used was Maris piper , no idea if it makes any difference what sort they are but most of these are a good Golf ball size at least. same as Doug! watered them a couple of times a day Jasp

  20. wish my old Fizzy was as fast as that mate I had a Yammy FS1E when I was sweet 16 on a 77 R Plate Andy, being a lad I tried everything to tweak just alittle more out of it but only managed 48MPH. a pal had a Garelli Tiger cross which always showed me a clean pair of heels , another lad had a suzuki SP50 which was geared high and had a cracking top end but couldn't touch me on pick up wish I had the fizzy now as they're fetching a bit
