  1. Search on EBay for '8 ohm 0.5W speaker' and choose the one of the correct diameter.
  2. I have tried fixing them in the past with a low success rate of about 10%. This one is wanted for a mate who plans to dissolve the resin so he can look at the design of the coil and hopefully start making them. He already makes 8ft one.
  3. I'm after a non working Mk1 15ft ferret collar. It's only the transmitter part I'm after so doesn't need to come with the cap or leather collar. Doesn't matter if the plastic is battered either as I intend to cut the thing apart.
  4. Deben say 10 to 11 feet but from my experience more like 8 to 9 feet.
  5. What's the listing number for the wheels? I sell the stickers and the switch that sits under the wheels but have never come across anywhere with the 30mm diameter plastic thumb wheels.
  6. There are four types of Mk1 collars, all use different size caps. Gets very confusing because so many people incorrectly describe the collars and there is also an increasing number of non Deben collars around that are different again. You can estimate the size based on the batteries they take. 8ft micro ferret takes one 393 battery. 8ft standard ferret takes one 357 battery. 15ft ferret takes two 393 batteries. 15ft terrier takes two 357 batteries.
  7. They have never had a web site to my knowledge.
  8. Mick Dadd has never repaired them. He used to pass them on to someone else but they fell out.
  9. Cheapest new I know of is Air Rifle Shop. http://www.airrifleshop.co.uk/Accessories/Ferrets.htm Don't know if they will ship to Austrailia but don't see why not.
  10. Seen it, interesting watch. DVD is a massive advert for their pigeon decoying kit.
  11. He sold me the finder and 5 collars on new years eve for £250. They never arrived and he strung me along for a while saying there had been a delay in posting them. Open an item not received case in Paypal and escalate to a claim. Paypal will put a hold on the funds so he can't withdraw them. He needs to prove delivery otherwise they will refund you. The process takes a couple of weeks. Trades on EBay as haveyhunt86.
  12. Will give you £350 inclusive of postage for the lot.
  13. What parts you after as the capacitors can be had for 39p from Maplins. Part number N05CN. FKP2 Series 100V 2200pF 5% Radial Polypropylene Film Foil Capacitor http://www.maplin.co.uk/polypropene-film-and-foil-capacitors-98156?c=maplin&utm_source=gcs&utm_medium=gcs_search&utm_campaign=N05CN&utm_content=Polypropylene
  14. I would rather pay £62 delivered and get one with 12 months warranty from airrifleshop. http://www.airrifleshop.co.uk/Accessories/Ferrets.htm
  15. You don't need a ticket to sell locally. You can use the local hunter exemption. Local used to be same or neighbouring county to where you live but may have changed. See chapter 6 http://www.food.gov.uk/multimedia/pdfs/draftwildgameguide.pdf
  16. Mk2 collars have a short battery life of only 30 hours.
  17. They do, I have tested it myself. At one stage I had the complete range of Deben ferret finders and collars so spent some time testing what worked with what. Result were different to that quoted by Deben. Mk1 finder works with any collar. Mk1 collar only works with Mk1 finder. Mk2, Mk3 and Mk3M collars work with any finder. Mk2, Mk3 and Mk3M finders will work with any collar apart from the Mk1.
  18. If its an 8ft collar that takes one LR44 battery then I would leave it in. The battery will last between 3 and 6 months. Any other collar take the batteries out otherwise they will only last about 10 days.
  19. Mk3 collars take two 393 type batteries which go side by side whereas Mk3M collars take two 394 type batteries which stack on top of each other. As far as I know there is no difference between a Mk3 and Mk3M finder. They both have magnets in. The earlier Mk3 finders didn't have the pin pointer but the later ones did. I think even the Mk2 finders have magnets in even though they are not needed.
  20. Any hinge will do the job. Just some look better than others.
  21. I will start the ball rolling and offer you a choice of 500g spool of spun nylon in either canary yellow or orange. 5 spun nylon purse nets in either canary yellow or orange. 100m 3mm braided nylon draw cord in either red or yellow. 150m 2mm braided nylon draw cord in white. £20 via paypal.
  22. There are a fair few available mostly Australian ones. A cheaper option is to go for American coyotee calling ones that are very similar. Calling Em In Operation Predator series (coyote) Fox Frenzy 2 With Tom Varney Fox Whistling With Tom Varney OutFoxed With Tom Varney Whistling With Foxes (Unique Productions) The Warrener has produced plenty but I wouldn't recommend any of them.
  23. Two I'm aware of are Catapult Crazy by The Warrener CARLY'S ANGELS - Rough & Ready Personally I think Catapult Crazy is a load of rubbish. Think there is a thead on here discussing it if you do a search. Haven't seen Carly's Angels so can't comment on that.
