  1. My train of thought, starts the digestion process or the veggies will just pass straight through without retaining much if any nutrition. If pupled through a food processor no problem with digestimg heat ie cooking just destroys the enzymes. When a wild dog feeds on stomach contents they aren't cooked.
  2. A cracking stamp of terrier Busterdog. You can tell that theyre related a sure sign that your doing something right. All the best with them.
  3. Feed raw as cooking destroys the enzymes which are the good bit.I pulp it up in food processor then mix with either raw eggs or gravy.
  4. A few enquiries but still for sale.
  5. Ortovox Barryvox reciever had upgraded software,Ortovox transmitter with two Strongstuff collars.£280.plus p&p. I'm putting this ad up for a mate so please ring him on 07740178510 and don't ask me about it just give him a bell. Thanks
  6. I personally don't think there should be any difference. If you want to succeed on foxes then you need a variety of types and temperaments in your kennel.Whether freelance or with a pack the foxes still go to ground in the same earths/rockpiles etc. There is no one type or temperament that succeeds in every situation. The only difference in my opinion is that outside of hunt work a terrier may be asked to find/hunt more to find its Fox as opposed to being led upto an earth that hounds have marked.
  7. Bellman & Flint working Buffalo collars all the way.I've had mine for years.Dev if you contact them they'll replace them no problem.

  13. Just advertising for a friend as I said if its leather you want then you won't find a better quality.I have had one of these on a working dog for 11 years and its still going. I have both SS and leather I'm not saying that one is better than the other.Just saying that if you are after leather then give these people a try I'm sure you won't be disappointed!
  14. Strong stuff doesn't do leather, some people prefer their kit to be made from leather. As my post states for quality leather collars and leads these will not be beaten. Keep your negative comments to yourselves.I have had one of these collars on a dog for 11 years.

  21. JD as I said Im only repeating what I was told by the head of the fireams licencing dept in our area. The laws changed a few years back according to him.And thats a fact!If you would like the telephone number of the office then I can pm it to you matey. Some years back when I applied for a .410 pistol an aquaintance who comes under a different area firearms dept applied for a .22 pistol. He was told that he couldn't have it but could have a .410 for Fox dispatch and I was told as stated above and granted a .22.So I suppose that different areas have different rules or ideas.
  22. Yes Donny Used to use them,The chief FAC officer told me this when I was applying. He said that not many people know that the laws changed. You can hardly argue with the man that is deciding whether he is going to issue you with an FAC or not.I am only telling you what I was told by our areas Chief of Firearms Dept but if you know better than him thats fine by me,I'm not making it up. He actually said that you and I know that it is the best calibre for the job.As if you needed to dispatch an injured horse whilst out with the hunt then you could use it,but it is illegal to use it to dispatch any
  23. The firearms officer in my area told me that i couldn't have a .410 pistol as they are only used for shooting rats in farm buildings and yards, they had a new chap last year who said in good old English "bollocks", he would issue one no problems ? As a side note the first FEO told me he wouldn't issue me with a firearm (pistol) but would grant me a (his words) five to ten shot shotgun Yes but I was told that if found to be using it to kill foxes that you wouldn't be issued with an FAC as it is illegal to dispatch a Fox with a shot pistol.I have a .22 revolver and have found it excel
