    your better with a small lurcher mate. straight whippets are good little dogs but if your gonna give it plenty of all round work your better to get a terrier cross whippet Ozzy wheaten /whippet a first cross not as fast as the three quarter but handy allround rabbiting dog and never a sick day in his life Totally agree with Cleanspade,Pure Whippets weak feet, thin skin, less stamina and nowhere near as robust as terrier x.

    Would just like to say a big thank you to a very decent bloke...The boxes are a true masterpiece and I haven't seen better.Anyone considering buying from dog gone,all I can say is he is a true professional and you definitely won't be dissappointed.A top bloke. Cheers!

    Not being funny pal but what you have is probably 1 in 1000, and i still wouldnt breed off them because the pups almost certainly wont work. KC terriers have been bred for looks for too long and have lost the ability to do proper earthwork in all but a few cases. And your second comment any dog thats trained right will go down a hole...is true, but its what the dog meets down the hole that splits the difference. Any numpty can run an empty earth, i doubt it if your dogs will stick it in the long run, but i really hope they do. And well done for trying and giving it a go FTB Just because

    They seem very few and far between,all the ones that I have ever seen have either been too hard or don't work at all.Although I have had two good Border crosses over the years.

    Is their any pics of the pups Bud, from what i`ve seen of both parents they should make tidy dogs..... Yis Mars... Sorry mate I don't have any pics,cracking pups though and both parents are well worked.

    It probably is the same people,he always used to say that the collar when put on a pup will outlast the dog and it's true. When I ordered my old Hancock dog I bought a collar from Alan.When the pup was 14 weeks old I put the collar on him and it was still on him when I had the dog put down aged nearly 12,and I still have the collar today.
