2 to 3 lbs of raw meat is way to much for a dog of her breeding and age to be eating ... what EXACTLY are you feeding her on a daily basis ......... ..........

taht is a typical old fashioned greyhound/coursing meal fed by long in the tooth gerietrics who wont accept change and always give it I HAVE FED THIS FOR YEARS WITH NO PROBS BLAH BLAH BLAH ...... i am not going to go into feeding regimes you know my feelings on what feed works frank .........

absolute nonsence mate dogs use fats as a source of energy ..... have a look at a sled dogs typical diet .... it consists of 32% protein ... 15% carbohydrates ... and 53% fat ..... if what you are saying is correct then there would be no huskys left in north america .......... i think what they mean is a diet as in burgers fried bacon etc ... bad fats ... which are completely different to animal fats mate ...........

get a rabbit skin it stretch it out skin side up cover with salt lay a couple of sheets of newspaper on top put something heavy on top of the newspaper to press down leave for 2 wekks and hey presto a cured skin that still has the rabbit smell to it .............

ok here is the way to treat shock in humans use the word WRAF Warmth Rest Assurance Fluids (if safe) give the ferret plenty of fluids and then place hewr in a warm dark quiet place (such as her sleeping compartment) and leave her alone to come around ... when she has perked up give her small amounts of food but more fluids .........

Thats why i asked about his mental health, he may have been fine untill recently when everything has just got on top of him....but LB said he is sound, so thats not the reason then Plus i think you need to know how old is his current dog and how long has he had it. Might be in good nick cos he has'nt had it for 5mins. If in doubt.....do nowt. MOLL. some good points there moll :thumbs-up: ... you can tell you work with window lickers ......

when i was a kid a bloke down the road pissed me off so i whent down the river ferreted half a dozen rats put them in a sack and at daft o clock the next morning i posted them through his letter box .... at eight the next morning he was knocking my door and asking my old man if i could come down with the terriers and ferrets to get rid of some rats he had in his house .... so off i whent killed the rats and he gave me a fiver (a fair of money back then) ...... now days though i am very much like misty and if some dumb fecker is dull enough to f**k me over then pain is the only revenge ........

because with the estra coat the dog will be able to work for longer periods in harsher weather ... and as for stamina then it will obviously be able to have more runs on game ... simple really ......
