    The being firm must be all the time 24/7 until the dog realises that you the wife and kids are in charge and he MUST listen ... You can not let him get away with doing anything he shouldn't be doing otherwise the lack of consistency gives the dog mixed signals and allows him to behave as he pleases ... You will all,have a much happier and healthier relationship once he knows his place and boundaries .........

    All the dogs I have owned including my terriers have been very obedient ... I demand it from my dogs ?.. I hate unruly dogs that take telling two three four times to do something I like to be able to calmly give a Command and the dog do it no fuss no shouting no screaming and swearing ... Do I need to lay a hand on my dogs to achieve this ... NO ... I spend lots of time with them as puppies building trust and watching what makes them tick watching how they react in different situations and a combination of those factors will allow you to guide the dog to do what you want it to without the dog

    I was on a six week stint down in Armagh when I was based in Londonderry and I had the worst case of piles the world has ever seen I could only just move because of the fukcing coconuts I had hanging out of my arse hole ...
