    I try to feed my dogs as close to natural as I can and a bitch wouldn't wean a litter of pups on a carb based cerial diet she would be regurgitating meat for them so that what I try and do by feeding minced warmed up meat ... However some people can't do the meat thing and if you have to feed cereal then so be it .......

    Extra calories? Calcium (unless feeding minced bone)? Firmer stool? A pup won't need extra calories if its on a meat diet ... It will just shit out the cereal .......

    Worked in a private mine as a youngster it still had pit ponies ... Infact it was the exact same pit that was on the news a few years ago when 3 lads died when they had a cave in ...     You don't need to fight in a war or pull someone from a burning building to be a hero ... That lad who was only a teenager put all his self pity aside and through his sickness pain and countless bouts of treatment plugged on and did his utmost to make as much money as he possibly could for the charity in the hope that in the future teenagers like him won't have to die a horrible death ... In my book that makes him pretty heroic ... And let's not forget he has been raising money for years with no media coverage ...     Washing the dogs to much will take the natural oils out of their coats which means they have less protection against the elements .... Dry them as best you can and as long as they go in a draught free warm kennel they will be fine ........

    Well done that cat balls of steel ... Don't mind cats myself always have one around the house ... Funny things as kittens and good vermin killers as adults ... Also good for breaking the dogs to cats as I do a fair bit of work in large private gardens and they all seem to have a cat .......
