Why don't you wait a while and put him over your own bitch ??? ......... -
Gentlemen thank you .... It seems that there are a multitude of pellets that suite this gun ... I have decided to go with the advice of buying a trial pack from eBay to see what suites my particular gun ... However I was rat shooting last night using power pell and they did the job just fine ........

You spend a lot of time rolling on the floor trying to bite him .... You may want to seek professional help off a sex therapist ...........

Seems as though these killer mules are common in America .........

Most gun dogs don't start their field training until around the 10 month to year old mark BUT basic training should have been instilled by then and control over the dog should be easily managed ... Granted he may not have got that dog into his kennel until it was that age but there is still no cause to pick a dog up by its ears ... I would happily chuck fatty around by his ears to see if it got him to listen ..........

You can instil the alpha dog respect without laying a hand on your dogs ... I havnt had a kennel fight or even a growl amongst my dogs in over 20 years .... They can eat from the same bowl share bones sleep in the same bed with absolutely no problems ... And they are the same with other dogs ... It's not difficult to achieve and it doesn't involve ear pulling ........

I've got a cocker as well as my lurchers and I have kept spaniels on and off my whole life and as I stated one of my mates is an A class trial judge and has bred and trained a few ftch so I have some idea of what I am talking about ....The point is that by picking the dogs up by its ears you are eventually going to damage them ... A ear is a sensitive organ ... He could have easily picked the dog by the scruff which won't damage the dog in any way ...........

Strangely enough that's the area I was in mate .........

I remember once in Canada we had been town the local town for supplies and on the way back one of the lads was out for a run as we passed him the local lad who was with us pulled over and told the fella to get in ... The lad was enjoying his run and told the local no I've got another 2 miles yet ... To which the local replied ... You won't get another 200 meters look through the trees ... There was a massive mountain lion that had been shadowing him ... The local lad told us that attacks are very rare but in every case he knew of it was people on bikes or running that had been attacked ... He

Picking a dog up by the scruff and sitting it on its arse is a world away fro picking it up by its ears FFS .... A very good mate of mine is an A panel judge and has trained a fair few field trial champions and I can guarantee they weren't trained like that fat fukcer trains his .........

I bet it isn't ....... Do you know the dog?? I don't know the dog but I know dogs and by that dogs body language it ain't gonna make a field trial anything .......

If you are working on your own and have to do a hedgerow or ornamental garden with ornate hedges etc then setting a trammel on your blind side can give you the confidence to know that whatever hits it will be well and truly tangled up leaving you free to concentrate on your side ........

I wouldn't let that fat fukcer near any of my dogs ... We were at a game fair last year and some woman did that to her cocker that was running in the scurry ... By the time my missus finished with her I don't think she will do it again ........
-
Yep your right there mate she has certainly paid her way ... It's staying in so far and the swelling is nearly down so fingers crossed she should be ok ...........

I tried another pattern but the outcome was not much different to the one above. I have another pattern in mind I will see how that works out and see which one I will go with. A trammel works on the principle that each square is like a small purse net, this net works on the same principle but instead of having separate outer walls the walls are knitted into the mesh of the net. TC Will you field test all three nets to see which one works best ... I would be interested to see how these turn out as a lot of my ferreting jobs are on my own and a net such as these would be a very handy tool in

Last week Tegan decided that she was a spring chicken again and took off after her quarry across some real bad ground as fast as he ageing legs would carry her and to my complete surprise made the kill ... It did however come at a price with a nasty dislocation of one of her toes ...... I managed to re set it quite easily but on the walk back to the truck it popped out on another joint and that had to be re set also ..... A week later ... It's healed quite well ........
