I made this canister Damascus knife to auction at the fishing competition. the blade is 4 1/2 inches long made with 1095 Steele powder and a chainsaw chain. It has a nice subtle Damascus pattern. The handle is oak from a 100 year old whisky barrel. just got to knock up the sheath and it’s ready to go.

Ive heard about using mdf and ply wood as sharpening wheels but bed paid much attention to it. How does it compare to sharpening using a belt grinder ??? -
