  1. im sure we have all done this one! i bought a smk xs38 underlever (christ knows why) for a play and thought pooo! no good! and most recently a dan wesson co2 revolver both purely out of curiosity. the xs38 was pants!!!! but the dan wesson is fun for a a garage can busting pistol range with a beer. anyone else bought somate out or their usual preference in impulse and what you recon to it?
  2. Its a shame you get into trouble for defending your own property. A burglar steals hard earned property, cause damage to and invades the privacy of your home. That is a very very serious thing for them to do and if something bad happens back to them - thats the risk they take! end of........if they are defended for this then it is disgusting IMO.
  3. whenever iv looked for something like that for sale be it a gun or whatever iv googled it for sale and chose last week on search options.... always found what i wanted.
  4. Im not sure but remember a mate having this problem and it was a broken indexing lever?
  5. Some nice bits of kit there rat buster!
  6. Iv tried a fac hw80 and if I hadn't been told it was fac I wouldent have even known it shot very nice.
  7. Don't take it. If your not getting paid per shot, i.e. per rabbit, why risk wounding with FAC or not. That isn't a go at you admin, just saying like. Rez 25+ ftlbs is a humane heart/lung shot in right situation, at close range with common sence regards to odd blade of grass in the way.
  8. I'm sure a well placed heart and lung shot is very humane at closer ranges with fac air iv done the odd one and it sounded like a rimfire hit it at 30 yards, and dropped on the spot. But I still go for head shots if I can.
  9. I love my fac .22 airgun for same reason as flatter trajectory and also added knock down power. I wouldn't dream of shooting a sub 12 at 60 yards. I have not got a rimfire but to be honest I love airguns and I'm happy to stick with it. It's put a lot more bunnys in the bag even with it's modest range extension. I'd recommend one!
  10. Well done! I bet your very proud! Good lad.
  11. It's a shame the media are saying all this. What about knives? They are a very common weapon and no certificate is needed to own one of them, and they are used to kill many people.

    Spiders

We live in a bungalow and it's easier for them to get in through bath and shower pipes with them been low level. We get loads this time of year when temps drop. My whippet loves eating them and if you shout spider she jumps up running and searching round room looking for them
  13. Last year I made blackberry wine it was like rocket fuel, also some jam. Need to get out and pick a few. Have many happy memories picking blackberries with my grandma as a child.
  14. Well I'm stuck at work and unable to get out properly but this years blackberries are huge and plentiful compared to other years. There's plenty in the yard and they are unusually big! Any other blackberry pickers on here? Last year I made wine and jam but this year is miles better for picking
  15. Had same for fuel money when travelling a few miles to get there, flat refused it. It's a privalage to be there but eggs are good currency in return!
  16. Hi random Luckily it's ground we can drive a 4x4 on so no lugging around a load of rabbits ATB Daffy nice shooting! are you shooting over stubble? im waiting for my permissions to be cut hopefully out at the weekend!
  17. Ahahahaha. Apparently she needed it more than me. I was driven, worked hard and bought my first house at 23. My sister was on an all expenses paid trip of a lifetime to Australia courtesy of my mother. She stays in the house my mother bought her, playing at farming on the 40 acres my mother gave her. The price is she has to live with my mother. I will make my own way in the world and f**k the lot of them. The pair of bitches deserve each other. That's not fair - Life's all wrong!
