  1. If you have a shotgun get some Heavy eley alpha max cartridges and call them in. Keep the range to 30 yards - although classed as a pest they still deserve upmost respect. Some may have other opinions on range but closer the better.
  2. Some forces don't even allow rimfire a to be used on fox!
  3. A shotgun would do the job fine, I wouldent use fac air it's not man enough for the job.

  9. That's a B1 ain't it? What's the company man?Hi Rez yes B1 (and bigger up to 1050x750) that's not where I work but same machine. I can't say as the company got a social media ban.
  10. Rws excalibure and printing on Heidelberg printing presses (xl105 the best) see this video.... A machine iv loved for 7 years
  11. No idea to be honest, it's just nice to see your cheque has been cashed and your renewal in in process
  12. Simmons wtc 3.5-10x50 for me. I zeroed it 3 years ago and I always check my zero before using it and never had to touch the turrets once!

    Gutted

Wounded game happens unfortunately If you Shoot a lot it will happen more often. I won't go into details but iv hit rabbits at 10 yards with a 12 bore and they have run on.
  15. Oh wow what a top opertunity I'd go with tench, roach and bream route. Plenty of carp ponds about and when you are targeting tench carp are allways taking the bait. A top tench water without carp is rare!
  16. Bless her that's great, bet she will never forget that little adventure.
  17. Or put a box out they may move into it. I have mason bee boxs and they mostly completely move out of last years box and into the new ones next to it. Also when they emerge next year they will open up the internal mud caps and let it drain again. Interesting things mason bees!
  18. They sound like red mason bees, are they making mud caps over the holes?
  19. Theres a hell of alot of good grayling habitat around there, I can hardly imagine them spending thousands to worry about grayling.....I wouldn't be surprised if the canoeists are anything to do with it... Yes very true I was trying to think of a good reason why it was removed but I can't!
  20. I been thinking about this wier been removed and I think maybe they where creating a good habitat for grayling? While speaking to a fisherman last time I was down there he said he had caught a few from this stretch. It will be very interesting to see if they appear in good numbers down there and would be great!
  21. I thought the same JDarcy and was shocked when I discovered it. I dare say it spoiled the stretch above it even. It was a top chub stretch I tried to look positively at it been removed but I can't see how it helped. I imagine making the one above it (by pollard bridge) easier to pass would have been more beneficial as over the years when I was down there a lot I used to watch trout try jumping up that all the time. I can't knock the EA for all the other work they have done on the river tho, it is superb.
  22. Thank you I'm ordering some now. I was trying some gold head flys yesterday similar looking to those but it seemed like they where preferring the dry fly that day. I had a chub on one that looked like a shrimp on Sunday night I'll look for some more of them too. Cheers for the advice as you can probably tell I'm pretty new to fly fishing apart from the occasional trip to still waters so it's much appreciated.
