My fist job was a yts apprenticship, with a couple of travellers who ran a plumbing firm in central london, they gave cowboys a bad name, and on the first day they dropped me off at a job with a bag of tools and told me to fit up a kitchen, and theyed be back at 5 to pick me up It was £30 a week, but they always threw me another £100 so it wasnt so bad. Chucked it in after they had me unblocking a drain with bin bags tied to me arms, and when i felt something sharp,and pulled me arm out, I had a handfull of syringes, and one was sticking out me knuckle! Prob spent it on

It was ok, I though the bloke presenting it was a bit of a twat though. The bit where he said badger burry there dead, and cry over there graves was laugthable.

For me, its someone who uses what they catch, repsects there animals and quarry and who see's the sport aspect as a happy bonus, and not the sole reason.

Spell checks on forums are a handy tool, but you should already have them, if you run windows. Just type your post out in ms word, spell check it, then copy paste onto the forum. I should do that more, but I don't oftern bother.

I'm sure most of you know this type of game carrier But just incase some one doesnt, I hope this simple how to might be useful :whistle: Lost my old game carrier a few days ago, and had seen the string sort at a game fair, so thought I'd have a go at making my own today. You just need a bit of nylon draw cord type stuff A couple of 1" ferret net rings and a shoulder strap off a lap top case, or old bag tie a loop in one end of some bits of nylon about 8" long tie em onto a ring, that can clip onto the strap, burn the frayed ends with a lighter so the k

Early spring I think, but your right its an odd season, the hazels here have buds already, though the birch seem ok so far.

Sort of like conferance call. The first to start speaking has more control, if others jump in there voices are quieter on most voice chat programes.

Collie/greyhound came over saterday night for a bit of a shine. Hadn't seen her since I bought the pup from her over a year ago, so it was good to catch up. I don't understand wives though, I mean mine seemed a little put out that I'd met and 18 year old girl online, and that she was coming over to go out for the night, and wifey wasnt invited. Women hay! Not the best of night weather wise, but started out dark as the moon was below the horizon, so we went to a local spot for a few rabbits. You make a good point, I havent a lot of experiance, but certainly this season I've had a lot more lay ups than last season, and the only real differance is this season I have a dog with me, who is doing a lot of what you mention, sticking his head down holes, and genraly being a bit to present around the warren. He is getting there, and being more alert, and less nosey while the ferret is down.
