  1. Coursing slips are bloody annoying for lamping, ok on big open ground, but once you have a few fences to climb, the things become annoying, and oftern go off just at the point you dont want them too.
  2. minishaw thread ? http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/index...?showtopic=6628 bit of a fecking read though lol, but i seem to remember al the pics mentioned are in there.
  3. dont forget to turn them at least 3 times a day, or else youll have chicks with funky looking fecked up feet. You'll need a small dish of water all the way through, dont let it dry out, then youll need a bigger (larger surface area) dish for the last few days, as you need more humiderty at the end. I can certainly be done with your set up, just get the temp right, before adding eggs. youll also need to make up something to candle the eggs, that way you can take out the ones that aint doing too well, before they stink it up.
  4. I went to the cla today, I was most impressed. Feckinh huge. Got some good bargins.

You wont need to worry about the size of your nose now Ian
  13. I can see a few things, less bulk than a bull, longer legs than a bull, better feet than a bull, but the same balls as a bull.
  14. Sure some are large, and cumbersome, but certainly not all. The breed over here is very variable, some thrown like great danes, others throw a far more athletic type. this type I certainly wouldnt call slow, or cumbersome But this type and the one i once lived with, that took up a 3 seat sofa to himself, and couldnt out run a fat man, i would. do you really think the top dog pictured would not be able to take rabbit, deer or fox ? If brought on right. The if its not broke dont fix it thing is silly, and out of context. Thats the same as
  15. There quite a variable breed over here, some of the smaller more athletic types would be what i would go for, if choosing one for hunting. Seen a few vids of them coursing (lure) in ameria, and they certainly have the speed for a lot of quarry, but I'd imagin not fast enough for hares.
  16. Nice looking pup, is that a type then "spanish field grey" ? Your other dog looks like it has a bit of spanish running dog too, or that might just be due to its fecking huge ears
