That does ring true as it happens....if its the same geezer i think it is he was quite keen on arm wrestling and we had a few little natters which is good for me as nobody else is remotely interested ?.......he even told me a few facts and figures that i wasnt even aware of.....but when it came to the nuts and bolts of the sport i quickly realised he knew next to nothing and anything he did know was " stats " that anybody could get from a random Google search. -
Whats that got to do with anything ? Fury being allowed to fight a man he has already convincingly beaten twice is farcical theres no point trying to make excuses for it......and trying to charge 25 sovs for it well thats just f****n hilarious ?

" Stay in your lane ".....theres a good old saying from years ago it usually came a fraction before giving someone a belt ? Agreed though,why strangers on internet forums feel a need to talk like experts on stuff they have no experience of to other strangers is a strange one in itself.....or be even remotely bothered about what subjects other strangers talk about ? Mind you even stranger than that is people who keep coming back on under different names to " wind people up " .....it does come across a bit sad like they havent got much else going on in their lives.....shame really. -
Thats it mate Mark was a gym junkie any excuse to be in the gym he did a lot of charity stuff even down to charity walks with his 2 ridiculous little balls of fluff he called dogs its what makes it so gutting he was such a clean living lad right up till the end....but that horrible b*****d of a disease takes no prisoners. Also just for some folk who might not know i see the Danny Williams fight mentioned above and i,ll defend Mark to the last he only had 5 days notice for that fight,he was actually sparring partner for Williams first opponent but he pulled out and just out of desperation

I normally just pay to watch the big fights without questioning it but i wouldnt even watch that shit if it was free. I say again how Fury has got away with this through his career is a mystery to me.

Absolutely gutting Marks's been a pal for years i only spent the afternoon with him a few weeks ago he was in good spirits all things considered.....18 months he was given and he lasted 8.....really choked.....he was a proper mans man,hard as nails but had a good heart and was a loyal,nice person....maybe its true what they say " The brightest lights shine for the shortest time ".....he'll get an immaculately observed 10 bells salute at the 02 on Saturday thats for sure as he was well liked in the community.....may he Rest in Peace.

I enjoyed the game once i worked out where the mute button is on the remote......how much better is it to watch football without listening to all their poisonous nonsense. Same old thing with England i suppose,everything looked good and well organised but lets see how we look when we're not playing a pub team....Iran were diabolical to be fair.

Thats pretty much what ive found out myself if im not wrong it replaces a window so cant be that big im just dubious as to whether they would produce enough/any heat,they almost sound too good to be true no messing about with inverters or however it all works....might just bite the bullet and give one a go.

In terms of joke telling for me a real comedian can tell a joke you've heard a thousand times but still make it funny....Mike Reid's delivery in that way was top class in my eyes,Jimmy Jones similarly.

Agreed...i think thats the difference between a comedian and a naturally funny person....i could stand telling jokes all night and get a laugh but to just " be funny " in front of an audience is hard work/pressure like no other.....a lot of it is natural talent in my opinion i know a lad from schooldays who just had a funny way about him the way he told a story etc.....still keeps us all giggling to this day bless him.

Superb ?....i just love being around funny people ive a couple of pals who can just turn it on and off and its brilliant...even if they're taking the piss out of me i dont care, i often find myself saying " come on be funny " .....i mean,what sort of thing is that to say to a mate i feel a right berk saying it but as a quick little pick me up its just needed sometimes, everyone should have a funny mate in my opinion.

Dave Allen,now theres a good shout....very funny man just naturally. In the early 90's i worked in Leicester Square and would go in the Comedy Club from time to time they would have young comedians on doing there bit then occasionally have a " real " comedian come in and do a bit.....Dave Allen was in there one night and absolutely brought the house down,didnt swear,didnt shout......just spoke.......but was hilarious,very talented man.
