f****n horrendous round here between 6 - 10 o clock this morning...............came out quite unscathed really a bit of trellis gone and a few roof roof tiles laying in the garden.......................could of been worse my neighbor up the road has now got half an oak tree in his garage !

Im not so sure i dont think they,ll get through it......the stuff i used was the thicker 1.3 mill stuff recommended to me by a roofer fella off here....... it seems solid and sturdy enough......mind you these 80mph winds over the next few days are going to be a tester .......If your reading this Mr Roofer,any lost birds and im coming after you

Always interesting to see some folks enterpretations of " a gangster/drug dealer " .............all the major cities have a handful of people who over a lifetime will have made good money from crime,they will usually have a very good business brain and your not going to know their name from " street talk ".... having a few ol bill tucked away in your back pocket and a good accountant is far more important to these people than a bunch of toughies running round trying to get a rep !

We aint got no neighbors so i can get away with pissing in the garden if im down near the shed.......theres a conifer near the shed that i wanted to chop down but the mrs likes it so my disturbed mind decided to see what would happen over the course of a year if i pissed over it every few days ......................only a few weeks ago she suggested cutting the tree down because it " seems to have some sort of disease " ......its either coincidence or ive got some seriously damaged insides ! Anyway its like pissing in the bath........only posh people get out the bath to have a piss.....

I think Lineker is absolutely right......the odd sunday morning i used to walk round the pitches with a fella i used to know who did a bit of scouting for West ham......theres a part of East London near the Olympic Stadium called Hackney Marshes that has in the region of 200 pitches......up the road theres Wanstead Flats that has about 100......every sunday throughout the season theres not a pitch thats not being used.....its mostly young kids of varying ages.......i was shocked at the amount of fights and trouble........dads fighting and arguing with other dads,with referees even with the pla -
Stone me i know yous are a bit behind up there but no telly ....are you on the electric yet ? Must admit out of 900 odd channels whatever it is theres probably handful that i ever watch......couple of sport ones and the odd film........i couldnt bare to watch daytime telly that would be like admitting lifes over !

Due to the fact that 2 sides of my aviary are solid walls i decided to have those clear corrugated sheets as a roof for to let more light in.......earlier i saw a Sparrowhawk trotting about on the roof and im wondering now if a clear roof wasnt such a good idea......its all secure enough and wired underneath.......but nonetheless i would imagine the birds were absolutely petrified ! I dont think my running up swearing and shouting at it intimidated it too much .... so id expect it back.......any of you aviary folk had the same or similar problems ? Would you put a solid roof on....or not ?

Not often i agree with Max.....but he,s absolutely right...............we can all go bashing up folk we can easily beat that proves nothing......lets see folk like that try going 10 rounds with top pros and see what they really have deep within.....a guy like that wouldnt last 2 rounds with a Tyson Fury or a David Haye. Back years ago you only fought unlicensed if you couldnt get a licence....Lennie Mclean would of made a decent domestic level pro but he couldnt get a licence,simple......today they fight unlicensed for a rep knowing they are not good enough to turn pro..............lift a

Im sure there are some tough lads and some good fights.....i dont disrespect any man whos willing to draw hands as i know the discipline it takes..........all i meant was the unlicensed thing had its day and it was done for the right reasons but those days have been and gone...........today i dont think it is done for the right reasons and unfortunately its boxing as a sport that pays the price for that.

Have to be honest the whole unlicensed scene makes me cringe everyone is out trying to be the next Lennie.....the difference is back in those days they was doing it for money,nothing else........today theres no money in it at all they,re just out to make a name for themself on the back of people like Lennie and Roy.....you see them every Friday piling into Caesars or the Troxy all pissed up ranting and raving trying to see who can growl the loudest.......the reality is it gives boxing a bad name when it has very little to do with the sport of boxing..............Mclean and Shaw were extremely

Yep he could deal with people Lenny he had a great sense of humour........around the early 90,s Leicester square was buzzing you had the Hippodrome,the Equinox,Napoleons......then walk back towards Soho there was Ronnie Scotts...........Lennie worked all them clubs he was the most sought after bouncer in London not just because he could have a row but because of his general way he had great charisma people just liked him.

The olden days ...saucy b*****d i was in my mid 20,s and it was the mid ,s not pre war !!!!.......Used to be a reporter/photographer bloke Micky Donnelly would come round the gyms in the area and take pictures for the local rag.....not that he ever wanted pictures of me very often ......yep should have kept the hands up i stopped counting how many times the nose got busted after the first 5 or 6 times......did have it operated on after i packed up but its still none too clever -

Gnasher the way you described lennie is how I always thought someone who knew him personally might describe him, but what about roy, was he as unhinged as he comes across when you see him on these films? I didnt know him well enough to comment mate.....he was always polite and friendly enough but you knew he wasnt a man to be taken lightly........as men id say the difference between the two of them was Lennie had a natural menace about him,his wife used to laugh and say he even snored aggressively .....he just had an aura about him.........Roy didnt have that.
