That line is a perfect example of everything thats wrong about boxing today..............Chisora is European champion and has fought for a world title yet we talk of him as being able to merely " grind a living out of boxing " just because he has lost through never ducking opponents.............Price has done nothing yet we talk of him as the big name who will be back on track. I think you are talking about " natural " in terms of the way it produces.......................im talking about " natural " as in the trait itself......its not natural for a dog to be willing to fight beyond a certain level.......and if he wont fight beyond a certain level he,s not game ?? The problem with what your implying about game ness not been natural is that at some stage on varies continents throughout history varies people bred from 2 curs and produced game offspring ,?? if Gameness is not in the natural world how the hell did they manage to get game pups from common curs?? I think so mate yes.......Chisora doesnt hit particularly hard,he doesnt close distance down quick,and if Price gets behind his jab he,ll pull Delboy into making mistakes...................and after all said and done Price is a tremendous puncher im not sure Chisora has the gears to switch up he,s a very one paced fighter who does what he does very well but whether he can figure out plans b and c im not so sure.

Must admit most of that went over the top of my head i dont think some things need to be overthought or overcomplicated..............gameness is not a natural trait,its not natural for a dog to take their death trying to come out victorious in battle hence once the initial threat display is over and the fur starts to fly 99% of dogs will say " f**k this im a survivor im outta here "...........the tiny % of dogs that embrace pain and suffering in order to win got that mentality from years and years of selective breeding by man heightening those traits to the point that they reproduce themselves

Not quite sure what your on about with the Lurcher comment ....Im not saying im right its just what adds up in my little brain i cant say as ive ever read it in a text book i might be talking complete bollocks but in my time studying dogs its what makes sense to me. I was once told by an old boy i very much respected......" gameness is a man made reversal of nature "......that always stuck with me and i believe it 100%......but thats only 1 trait of course.

Thats as may be in dogs bred with no purpose..........but dogs bred for purpose throughout the generations nature will often play a far bigger part than nurture.
