You'd do better having a ride down Leigh On Sea on a Sunday morning mate, the fishermans co-operatives sell right out of the sheds......shellfish, live crabs & lobsters, all types of fish and it costs buttons......well worth a little ride out then getting home and putting your old chefs hat on. All fresh as you like, blinding I know where you mean ive been down to them sheds.....used to go to a restaurant down there called The Boat Side or something.....quite a nice little area.....just far enough away from Southend

The one at Aldgate was closed down when they redirected the traffic i often used to pull up there and have a natter with the black cab boys it was a good atmosphere round there......theres still one at Walthamstow High Street......and now with the new trend of " street foods " theres a few crafty rip offs cropping up calling themselves " Tubbys "......which is a bit naughty.....i can take them or leave them myself once a month is enough for me.

It dosen't surprise me, I think that a lot of people just freeze, outright violence is so out of there everyday lives they just don't know what to do or are just plain scared. If I stood by and did nothing whilst someone was raped I couldn't live with myself. Same happens when people are attacked by dogs, people just freeze, its so far removed from modern, everyday life. I agree with that......for some people confrontation is just an absolute no no they will do anything to avoid it even if it means walking past someone in obvious need of help.......i dont think you can blame them not ever

Cant really add much more to what the lads have already said......its not really about preference,NO fighter prefers to wear one but they have their uses...preparing for fights etc but even then an elbow is still going to cut you regardless.........and if you cop a good smack on the chin a headguards not going to save you !...I think it was Stan who said it,wearing headguards can be more dangerous than not wearing them,they absorb some of the punch......meaning a hard shot or a 3 punch combination that would maybe end a fight or at least put you down....doesnt........so you just end up taking

Its not going to happen........while groups of lads might be able to get away with " patrolling " some of these country places.......get a group of lads walking the streets of London they,ll have ol bill all over them within minutes........................We,ve had our Combat 18,s look what happened there when a group of lads got together and that was near 20 years ago and it was nowhere near as mad then as it is now..................society is too eager to be offended by something to allow groups like them again.

got rid of all my gloves old medals and posters ---and pre 1970s programmes are my thing ...
