Good on you tb25 it sounds like your doing the right thing it would be easy to front him up but as a single parent i guess you take on certain responsibilities that mean you have to think twice about certain reactions thats what probably makes some fellas cut out for it and some not.......that said,im sure you must have a nasty mate or know a man who knows a man kind of thing.......but fair play to you for not acting on instinct im sure your lad appreciates it in his own kind of way as well.

Just to clear that up Gnash, i don't think people have to give their money away to be able to have a say mate, not my point at all, that's a daft way to think, if there was no point in starting a business to get on in life, or using a talent to get ahead we'd be in a right mess. Skint or rich everybody should have a right to an opinion, just more interesting when somebody with money tells the truth? I saw the bloke who started "Phones 4 u" on dispatches the other week, he's paid every penny of his tax, 260,000,000 i think it was, put that geezer in charge, obviously he's got morals. -

What sort of birds you got mate ?....wouldnt imagine them pigeon perches would be much good for small birds like canaries/finches etc......same as Fireman for me i just went over the forest and picked out some interesting looking shapes/sizes etc,gave them a bit of a clean up and just banged them in with nails....does the job and looks nice and natural.

Not so sure about that mate i recently helped the son of an old pal of mine get himself set up and he reckons theres quite a few youngsters involved,apparently one of the top racers down these parts is only in his 20,s.......i thought it was an old mans game but apparently not.

No i did mean violence.......ive known dogs ( and people for that matter ) who fulfil every drive they possess yet still have a desire for physical contact/violence..... im of the opinion that any dog can " go " at any time some just have no desire to....likewise with people.......some can be pushed to the limit and not " go ".....others will only require a gentle nudge and they,re off........the work/sport/drive a dog has is just not enough for some dogs to satisfy their desire. Why dont you build the doors into the solid side.....after all said and done you want to be able to sit back and watch the birds so why clutter the viewing area up with doors......and if i was you id make the doors full height not like in that picture at the top......in my opinion having doors you have a job getting through just makes you reluctant to get in there and do stuff....." i,ll do it later " type attitude Build one yourself mate its only screwing bits of wood together.......good luck and keep us updated And i reckon 2 x 2 is plenty.
