I have had those gloves on and to be honest there wasnt as much difference as i expected they dont seem to taper down to the wrist as much as a boxing glove and they was more square with the thumb molded to the frame of the glove as opposed to stitched on seperately.......but dont forget the taping of the hands is completely different as well.....probably a bit more flexibility as well with the Thai gloves to be able to open the palm and block a kick........ i never found that a problem anyway i just blocked them with my face Referees want to allow fighters to work inside but its a fine l

Tyson curred out on the best opponents he faced.....Joe Frazier put on some of the gutsiest displays ever seen against the best opponents he faced have you never heard the saying " its how you lose that matters "......Tunney feather fisted come on you dont really subscribe to the thought that a masterful boxer cant punch do you...where would that leave you with your all time great Michael Spinks then ?.......and what ever possessed you to put a masterful boxer like Lewis above your man Tyson if thats your thinking ?....and as for Vitali Klitchko i,ll give you the benefit of the doubt and call

Regardless of skill some of them are million to one shots surely.......i think its fake.

The cruiserweight division was just to bridge the 25 pound gap between light heavy and heavy........some of the lighter weights only have 3 or 4 pound between divisions so 25 pound is too big of a jump. Couldnt agree with allowing clinching/holding or lighter gloves......but i wholeheartedly agree with going back to 15 round fights......with todays conditioning fighters are doing the 12 round course far too easily.
-
Thats the thing though mate there isnt really anyone talented enough around at the moment to stop sheer size winning the day......the Klitchkos have proved that over the last 10 years......i agree i think Haye had too much for Fury as i think Joshua will if he keeps improving........the whole character thing you just have to look past im sure he will be as embarrassed by it as anyone else in years to come infact i think its the little posse around him who roll around in hysterical laughter every time he farts that are more embarrassing......but judging Fury as a fighter alone i think he has do

Im probably guilty of the odd during the war/back in the day type stories so Uncle Albert i guess.......besides,i loved his character anyway so im happy with that.

I read your posts on this subject with interest Truther,to me voting has become similar to choosing the least fat and ugly bird you want to marry so i understand exactly what you are saying......me i want to stick with the nice little bird i fell in love with years ago but then im accused of living in the past So if there was a " non vote " option how would that work in terms of improvement if the second largest vote still gets in power anyway ? I dont really understand the inner workings of politics to be honest but id like to hear the basics of your thoughts behind the idea of a no

Cor blimey Max you aint half a whinger ......nearly every topic you manage to turn into a government moan.....stand up and do something for yourself man im f****d if id be a slave to anyone !..........anyway f**k all that lets listen to some more of that nice Irishman -
At heavyweight that 6 or 7 pound isnt a big deal......when it starts creeping up to 20/25 pound yes it is an issue as it means you are getting moved around more when close in.......its the height/reach difference to go with that weight that makes it impossible......your trying to get around the other guys reach and get inside to land shots and as soon as you do they grab and hold then start moving you around inside.....they lean all over you and that extra weight becomes physically draining so you go back on the outside but your out of range and getting caught with jabs that you cant ignore wh

Taggy ive been going on for years now about a super heavyweight division.........times have moved on,human beings have evolved bigger and stronger, strength and conditioning, scientific nutrition have all come on leaps and bounds........yet the heavyweight boxing division is the same as it was in 1885 !!! The difference in pure boxing ability between the near 7 footers of today and the natural welters and middleweights is beyond recognition to the point where its difficult to class them as the same sport.........ive said many times a 6 foot/200 lb Fury or Klitchko wouldnt even be national le

How Vitali Klitchko can be the 8th greatest fighter in history is beyond my logic !......Even Lewis at 7 And what happened to Michael Spinks and Tony Tucker ?........11 and 12 ?
-
Because they both fought in the biggest fights of the century against all time great fighters and won..........Tyson didnt......They both took part in such exciting battles that went down as " fight of the century " .....Tyson didnt. Dempsey generated the first million dollar gate in history,up until Ali,s era Ring Magazine listed him as the second greatest heavyweight ever,he changed the sport from a defensive 1 punch holding contest to all out aggressive action. Frazier had the greatest rivalry in world sport with the greatest fighter ever and had 3 very close fights winning one of t

Just out of curiosity mate why shouldnt Fury be representing Britain on a world stage if he is good enough to ? Well I dont think he is good enough, and apart from that hes a gobby foul mouthed delusional moron who doesnt know how to behave in public. Apart from that I cant think of anything really. He does come across as a soppy big kid without an ounce of class i agree......but this is boxing its not big brother how popular you are makes no odds to what happens inside the ring and inside the ring he has done all thats been asked..........meaning so far he is good enough.

I always think to do all time great lists you have to simply forget who would beat who as it makes it impossible.....in my opinion to get on an all time great list everything must come into it......great fights, great opponents, ability, longevity, impact made on the sport.....this is off the top of my head so might need to alter it when i see what it looks like ! 1.Ali 2.Louis 3.Johnson 4.Marciano 5.Dempsey 6.Holmes 7.Foreman 8.Jeffries 9.Frazier 10.Tunney 11.Holyfield 12.Liston 13.Tyson 14.Lewis 15.Corbett I only carried onto 15 to see when i could fit Tyson in .....he,s a

Completely forgot about this.........how could i possibly know who you are if you dont tell me ? or are you that famous that i just SHOULD know ? State what you like but its a little bit infantile to say someones jealous just because they dont agree with something !.....i dont have any beef with Barry i havent spoken to him in years i just disagree with some of his views on boxing................it happens !
-
Probably about the same as you 10/11......i wouldnt have him down to beat many above him head to head though simply taking eras into account.......lets face it Klitcsko would probably batter Jack Dempsey but you could never place him higher. Now how about Michael Spinks ?

Its too late in the day to be splitting hairs over whether its a race or religion problem mate i personally couldnt give a flying f**k what their problem is as they never should of been my problem !!......A well known right winger of the ,s once made the statement " We dont know them.....and we dont want to know them "......had he not been shot down in flames for it just think how much better off we would be now if we had listened and paid more attention to our own business and less about people we dont know and have nothing in common with........who knows we might not be sitting discussing TH
