Hoddle would be my choice mate ive said even before Capello/Erikson were in charge that Hoddle didnt get a fair crack first time round we binned him for non football reasons and he had a lot to offer in my opinion he views the game the right way and had a good connection with the players......to be honest if Hoddle doesnt come back into management at some point it will be a waste of a good football man who played the game and sees the game the way we are now trying to play he was just ahead of his time..... i think they can be excused for continuing to go forward had it been a tournament game

Ask most England fans who actually follow them to tournaments and most will want to do the Germans over the Jocks does that make us rivals with them no probably not.......but 2 world wars and the football history we have with them makes it a huge fixture for us but no of course Geographically things are what they are.....me personally id rather beat the Germans than the Jocks but thats probably more from a competitive point of view you want to beat those in front of you more than you want to beat those behind you but yes by tradition alone the Jocks are our rivals....just not our most importan

Personally i dont have a problem tipping my hat to Murray and Scottish tennis........but the reality is you Jocks dont give a f**k about Tennis either if you could swap beating England at footie for Murray winning Wimbledon yous would drop him in a heartbeat and you know it......you gotta love em

The state of English football is we have the richest most popular and competitive league in world football.......the price to pay for that is a shit national side.........Scotland have a shit league and a shit national team who lose 3 nil to other shit teams.....what was it you said about glass houses. Well i thought we was excellent for the majority of the game as usual you,ll get the glory hunters and part time patriots giving their own nation a good slagging but who cares they aint important whats important is how we progress as a football side and while Southgate wouldnt be my choice it could be worse we could still have fat chops in charge.....apart from our central defence i thought we had a good balance that Stones/Cahill partnership is all wrong for me but against one of the worlds leading nations we did well.

Im becoming quite fond of Llandudno and Snowdonia.....all the way down to the Bala Lake and Montgomery its an area i had never found myself in until recently but really enjoying it.... its all got a welcoming feel and nice sense of communities.......few places around the South Downs i like and of course the Highlands for the sense of freedom and peace......but nothing compares to East London

I can well believe it he doesnt look to have any exceptional power or speed he just hits correctly turning his punches over properly he doesnt show feints or try to jab his way into range he just reacts off his opponents..... id say he,s probably the first guy ive seen that has adapted basic boxing fundamentals to work in that sport.

Nigels a smashing lad but i dont see either of his boys going anywhere they have both had very priviledged upbringings and just dont have the nastiness and desire the ol man had they will of inherited a lot of Nigels strength and athletic prowess of course but im not sure they have that deep burning competitive hunger to go beyond domestic level.

I like McGregor outside the ring he carries off the talk very well and commits to his own self confidence fully and doesnt sit on the fence......inside it i think he has proved how far a half decent boxer can go in this sport he seems pretty seasoned in every area but his timing and judgment of distance makes these guys look silly he knows how to walk them onto shots and use their momentum against them to the point they are wary of rushing in and engaging him.....which is the basis of any counter puncher in a boxing ring......good luck to the lad its great to see folk have the self worth to su

I think the only thing on par with it was listening to that poor ol f****r trying to play The Last Post before the game i don't know how it sounded on the telly but in the ground it sounded atrocious..... like he needed to clear a big bit of snot from his throat or something !

Im no good at being quiet and humble like some of our half hearted England fans we played shit against Slovenia and drew 0 - 0 we played shit against Iceland and lost 2 - 1 we play shit against Scotland and win 3 - 0 .........had we rocked up at Hampden in pink f****n shirts and lost 3 nil yous would of absolutely tore us to shreds so bollocks to all this feeling guilty about the diabolical state of Scottish football its you who constantly go on about this rivalry well there you go 3 nil in second gear.... stick that in your pipe and smoke it !
