Apparently i gave the wife a bit of a clump while i was asleep last night i said sorry treacle i was dreaming this geezer Socks off the internet was chasing me down the road with a Fray Bentos pie in his hand ! Its tough going through life with a constant desire for revenge......on a pie !

While i accept theres been some pretty daft comments on this theres a big difference between not understanding and not wanting to understand......i wouldnt book myself as any of the tough nut stuff you talk about but no i dont understand how competitive men can be got at like that.....but that doesnt mean i would take the piss out of them or demean them in any way it just means i dont understand it and would like to understand it i dont think theres anything wrong with saying " i dont get it " it doesnt mean you are belittling it.

I'm with you on the liver thing ... but a fray bentos pie I can eat breakfast dinner tea anytime fukcing delicious ... when I've finished I spend about a half hour with the prongs of the fork scraping out the very last bit .... mmmmmmmm You aint even a northerner !......they are brought up on that sort of muck but no man in their right mind would eat a Fray Bentos pie by choice i just dont accept it. they called the last resort pie lol " Punishment Pie " sounds more apt.

Thats fair enough i can appreciate that....but why now ?.....what would cause a sudden wave of similar aged men who have led similar lives to all release that burden at the same time on the same subject. ? I dont pretend to be an expert child psychologist like some of the idiots on here stamping their feet it genuinely puzzles me and id like to understand it as i imagine a lot of people would,especially those like me who spent a lot of years growing up around sporting boys and sporting coaches/trainers etc.

I used to go mad buying my kids any and everything i could get my hands on at Xmas till one day my boy turned round and said " dad why don't you get to know me instead of buying me all this shit i dont even want " Forget how much dough you do on your kids mate its the stuff thats free that really counts Lol look forward to when they say that mate, but surely every one spends on there kids on xmas and wondered whats the normal ammount to spend Im sure you are a great dad mate just dont fall into the trap i did of thinking you can buy a kids love thats all i meant

Got to agree......what makes people decide to come out with these things all of a sudden and all at the same time.....the cynical side of me wonders if its anything to do with the millions of pounds floating around the sport....likewise the post Jimmy Saville " historical crimes " era ?......who knows.....but where does it stop i mean whats to stop any one of us piping up now and trying to get the old pe treacher we didnt like into bother ? Part of me thinks if a crime isnt reported at the time it happens then it has to be put to bed permanently.

It aint the best mate ...its always had a reputation as a dockers area with slum housing and some not particularly nice people,even today its in the 5% most deprived areas in Britain although its on the up and up at the moment a lot of it is being regenerated thanks to long awaited cash injections from the council plus massive investment from good hearted local businessmen.....its never going to be Beverley Hills but its got a lot of character.

A what ......no im happy to pay a bit more to keep things simple thanks Watched a bit of that Bruce Parry and he,s definitely good at what he does but i think i still prefer my man Hazen Audel he seems to come across better to me you know that without the tribal lot he,d be f****d and they know that as well.....i get right into it and end up willing him on he,s a likeable sort of guy theres another series out called Primal Survivor im keeping my eye out for as well.
