Couldn't agree more........far as im aware ive never known anyone victim or perpetrator thats been involved in this sort of shit within sport and im still trying to kid myself that its all being over exaggerated purely for the reason that sport has been such an enjoyable and honest part of life....its almost heart breaking.

I know nothing about Formula 1 but a mate of mines been driving me mad all day moaning about this Rosberg geezer reckons he,s bottled it,apparently next season is going to be much tougher physically for drivers fitness wise ?.....he was giving off about sportsmen being so well paid they can just reach the top and quit without needing to further their career and actually earn a living anymore.......does make sense they do say your not a true champion until you have defended your title in any sport so you have to question the guys competitiveness....but again i know nothing about the sport.

Nice.....a pal of mine bought a place around Montgomery/Berriew way so ive spent a fair bit of time travelling around North Wales of late Llandudno is a place i really like we havent managed to get as far over as Anglesey yet but its all a smashing part of the world up there.

Maybe i was naïve to it all or i was too busy smashing into my own life to notice but i just cant remember any slight hint even of anything like that and talking to pals of mine lately neither can they yet it seems to of been all around us ...and our parents didnt tell us to avoid anyone.....its almost like the conversation we,ve all had where we think back to school mates and say i wonder who was a bender as the odds are that plenty were/are......but paedos bloody hell !

I thought the first series was good, the second OK and the rest samey rubbish. Sons of Anarchy was boring Everyone raved about Breaking bad but I couldn't get past the 1st season. I think Game of thrones was brilliant and if you haven't seen it I recommend The Wire which is one of the best TV series I've ever seen Breaking Bad was the first one i watched i thought it was good i cant be doing with sci - fi shit if it couldnt possibly happen in real life i lose interest hence why i couldnt get on with Walking Dead its a toss up between Dexter and Sopranos for my next one. You can't change who you are mate, but you don't have too......there are things you miss but your head has a funny way of only letting you remember the good stuff, there's plenty I miss but when I go back and see all the f***ing oddmarks and cameras and traffic wardens and police checkpoints and unhappy looking people it's reminds me why I f****d off and I can't wait to f**k off again. Thats one of the other things i dont really get.....i can say hand on heart throughout years participating in sport and generally being around sports people ive not heard one single hint of kids/lads being tampered with....not even rumours about certain coaches/trainers etc.... growing up the only person i ever heard of who was generally known to be a paedo ( although that word wasnt even used back then ) was a screw in what was then called a detention centre and for whatever bizarre reason it was almost accepted that the weak boys coming in were going to get attention from him it was almost

Ta for explaining and it makes sense i suppose its just shocking to realise the purity and beauty we all see in sport ( well i do anyway ) can be so contaminated and dirty i tend to see sport as one of the few truly great areas of life where we build great relationships that quite often end up extending beyond sport....hearing all this is a bit of a kick in the bollocks quite frankly.

Im not talking about the actual act of what took place obviously we cant imagine the horror of a young lad being physically overpowered im talking about later on in life as competitive athletes how they could have all those terrible memories and just shove them to the back of their mind with no thoughts of revenge ok i know not everyone is of that mindset but these were not timid weak little men they must of had enough about them to have the confidence to show their worth on a football pitch and be highly competitive in that way....i say again im not knocking them im just trying to understand

I admire these lads who up sticks and leave the places they know while they still have a living to earn that must take some bottle....moving to a different culture and country was the hardest thing ive ever done and still havent made the move completely it will cause me and the wife to get divorced one day im sure of it.... shes ready and im not i think if she really put her foot down id just stay there as i quite like her but its a tough old thing to do adapting to a completely different life even if you know its for the best leaving behind what you know and feel comfortable around is still

Someone gave me the box set of this Dexter recently it looks pretty good but its a lot of time to invest in something how long do you give it before you say no this is no good when everyones saying " you,ve got to give it time " Saying that a lad off here told me to watch that Sons of Anarchy and i enjoyed that then tried Walking Dead but got bored after a couple of series it was too samey.
