  1. the dog on the right of the pic is a fell terrier cross greyhound. its a bitch and the smallest of the litter. i never saw it work but was told it was coming on well but got hit on the road. the rest of the litter where bulky. slow to start or plain mad. the black and tan dog in the pic was the sire. a fifteen inch smooth fell terrier. that finished his foxes like all fell terriers should . the benefit in this cross would be better seen in future crosses i'm sure but would you breed off the first crosses that although not what you wanted would have a lot to offer. ? if i was you i w
  2. probably the best day was when my parson entered before a year old. we broke through nine hours later to him nose to nose with a fox. the buzz was when we got to him we thought he would be stuck/trapped. but he was just working away and did this for many seasons after. auld trusty. jessdale. thats a corker

  6. adam g brown glasgow. supply plastisol sheets. they come in various sizes and thickness. if i was you i would try and source the solid plastic sheets that are made from reclaimed plastic. we are useing them more and more on agricultural doors ect very hard wearing and easy to fix onto wood or or metal frames. no rust or rot. and power washable. try agricultural suppliers. google. a block built run is better for security. and i would want it close to my house. so i can see and hear whats about them. your local blacksmith may also be worth a thought for your runs

  16. We're abouts can I get them locator systems and cheers lads he's only 17 week now do a few searches on here fella. or google terrier locators. also you will find suppliers in the sporting press. there are a few different types so look into them first. cs
  17. they come in all the usual shapes and sizes you see in the other breeds like russells or patts etc. this is a class from a show but should give a rough idea' of size . ive some here that vary from 12 to 15 inch ttt.
  18. i have them out as soon as they are jabbed. at that age they soon learn to keep one eye on you. stock break them and sort the recall and your off and running. i would advise you get a locator system for your dog as they can and do go to ground at an early age. let us know how you go
