Over the years I have collected dozens of fishing books. Out of those books there are only three I would recommend. My Way With Trout. by Arthur Cove. Fishing for Bass. Strategy & Confidence. by Mike Thrussell Sea Trout Fishing. by Hugh Falkus Those three books changed the way I thought about fishing in such a positive way. They enabled me to become a better angler. What books would you recommend to anyone? TC

I was using them......then went back to traditional... Went off of traditionals tooY.I.S Leeview what are you using now? Leeview prefers his own VULCAN needle. A Vulcan needle filled with twine. I have been using the lumis type needle for the last 30 odd years I have some that have seen some work and then some. [/url] The small needle compared to a new one. These days I make my own lumis type out of hardwoods. TC

I dunno - at the time there were only 3 or 4 channels, and now Coronation Street is looking decidedly dodgy. To be fair, it is the most interest I have ever shown for Corrie - I hate soaps ! Your maybe correct in what you say there but torture is a different ball game..........if you thought you were going to be beaten black and blue everyday it would only be the "truly" insane that went ahead and committed these horrific crimes The chancers that plead insanity nowadays just wouldn't do it..... The type of people who do this do not think rationally. When the oppotunity arrises no matter what the consequences they just do it. They may have fantisised over the actions for months even years before hand just waiting for the right moment. At that moment in time there is only that

Unfortunately there is no such thing as a deterrent. The people who commit these atrocities know what will happen if they are caught but it does not deter them. When they take a Childs life, sadly they have no thought of the consequences. It is only later that they start to try and cover their tracks, and by then it is usually too late with modern forensics. Hanging, firing squad or lethal injection will not deter these people. But, they should be killed anyway just to make 100% certain that they can never inflict their twisted fantasies on any other child. TC

It does sound a lot, but lets say you knit 3 hrs per week. In 12 weeks you could have a 50 yard net. So going by that you could make 3 in a year just by spending 3 hrs a week knitting. If you could spare an hour a day knitting you could have one finished in 5 weeks. Go on you know you want to. TC

You seen the trick for taking the breasts out where stand on the wings? best way of the lot for exposing the breast lab Works with pigeon as well. only dont try it with a bird that has been hung for a week . LOL How long is a piece of string? In actual knitting time around about 35 to 40 hours but that is constant knitting. The best way to do it is to pick it up when you feel like knitting then put it down when you have had enough. It usually takes me a couple of weeks to make a 50 yard net but I have had some that take over a couple of months to complete. Just focus on the end result and the time is soon forgotten. TC

When I was a kid we used to upstream spin all the time for trout and sewin. We would fish just after a flood on little spate rivers. The more coloured the water the brighter the spinner and as the water fined down so you would make the spinner usually mepps less bright. You could start off with silver and end up with black as the water cleared. TC
