I count a drug as any mind altering substance. Alcohol, nicotine, being the most acceptable to most people, but they are drugs non the less. So if you partake in the use of any mind altering substance, personally I cannot see how you can pretend to hold the moral high ground and condemn the girl. If you don't take any mind altering substance at all, then I would say you have earned the right to condemn the girl. TC

Feck me there are some hypocrites on this thread. As far as I am concerned drugs are drugs, class A B or Z they are all drugs and if your delight is to partake of them, then you cannot throw stones. TC

He tampered with a 15 year old mate. Just that alone deserves the 8 years. Can't ague with that at all. If he knew that the girl was 15 he deserves it. I have a 15 year old granddaughter who when the slap is applied looks more like 20. I was lucky when younger I liked the older women, didn't yell, didn't swell and were grateful as hell. The problem is, and it is a minefield, no 15 year old girl is going to tell you they are 15, are they? Granted when they speak you should be able to tell their age, but some are pretty precocious and you would have a job telling how old they really are

I am getting a trifle nervous now. Does it mean if you have told lies just to bed a girl that you can be charged? You all know the ones, I am a trainee pilot, honestly I will respect you in the morning and the biggest lie of the lot I promise I won't come in your mouth. I should imagine nearly every adult has lied just to bed a girl. I am not saying that it is right, just that it happens. So are those lies all right because we are not rich or famous, so the girl who was duped has no chance of compensation = no complaints? Just a few thoughts. TC

Well I went out nesting today for the first time in over 45 years. Nothing much to report found a few pigeon nests and a couple of magpies. Tried climbing to one pigeon nest in a Douglas fir and got stuck half way up. I was sweating like a pig, fooking arms are still aching. Any ways an old photo of a nest and eggs, not mine I hasten to add. TC

Nettle Sting Treatment?

If any of the kids get stung by nettles I always put pile cream (Xyloproct) on the sting as it contains a local anaesthetic and stops the itching almost immediately. TC -
That is an odd statement to make. As all religions are just a set of moral and ethical codes and in the case of the bible told as stories. TC

Guys it seems as if this thread is getting a load of attention on the internet, it has had enough impact that people have joined to comment. Lets show them that we are not the great unwashed they think we are. Calling people names will do no good at all, I feel the same as you but you have to keep a clear head. We have to try and keep it civil for dye's sake, it would be rather sad if something said here jeopardised his case. TC

So when this is corroborated will you be able to get your head around the fact that the RSPCA are not what they say they are? That they are willing to starve, cause injury and even kill animals just to prove how caring they are? While the sentiments with which the RSPCA were founded on are totally ignored by the modern day leaders, I cannot help but think that the RSPCA is today run for the profit of it's upper echelon and their political motivation. Possible scenario? A doe is coming to the end of rearing her kits she is still suckling but about to end, possibly coming in to oestrous again. That would attract bucks to her vicinity. While she is beginning her heat she is not yet receptive to the bucks, but that does not stop them sniffing a chance of mating so they hang around her. Someone enters the ground they are on, as she is still suckling she is not really wanting to jump, and trying to sit it out until danger has passed. On the other hand as she is not receptive to the buck, does he jump at the first sign of danger? Thou -

My understanding of hare family life is the buck does the deed, end of. After that he plays no part in the upbringing of the leverets. TC -
Hopefully the dog will have died of shock before the real pain of the burns kicked in. I will be honest, treatment of animals in this way makes me cry, I cannot fathom out why anyone would actually do that to an animal. I really am lost for words. TC
