Agree, horses for courses and all that Bird?. I'm a great believer in showing reality, could have picked some pics that put him in a good light etc but he is what he is. As you say he'll come along over the next few months and he will be a nice looking dog of his type and more importantly move really well. Gotta look through the 1st impressions to see what is there, I was once told as an artist you have to forget what u see and paint what is there ?

Spanish friend who extolled their virtues, did a bit of digging and they seemed a bit of a undiscovered type over here, they helped me import the 1st one and I was impressed with her. Few over here now doing their stuff now?

Yes, a good hare, made the run and deserved to run again.

Pretty all the old breed sighthounds like galgos and salukis are relatively narrow, all likely have a common ancestor direct from the 1st dog, genetically there is no evidence of them having been developed from another breed, whereas greyhounds tend to be stockier, perhaps because of their sprinting background or maybe because they were bred from a collie type ancestor, mind that was a couple of thousand years ago. greyhound Galgo. Think in human terms the difference between a sprinter and a 10,00 meter runner, they are built very differently.

Reckon it costs little or nothing to do a kindness but often makes a big difference to someone, some may take it the wrong way but you don't know until you've offered. To many moaning about how its changed rather than being the one's that shows it hasn't by stepping up and being the one who offers to help....? Ps those whinging about NHS, Covid etc, get a life u whinging feckers lol.

The black leopard is another odd point, around 11 % of leopards are black, the great majority of those from the jungles of Asia where the deep shade reduces some of the negative aspects of the colour. As we don't have a lot of deep rainforest it seems odd our cats haven't reverted to a normal spotted coat. How the Leopard Hides Its Spots: ASIP Mutations and Melanism in Wild Cats - PMC WWW.NCBI.NLM.NIH.GOV The occurrence of melanism (darkening of the background coloration) is documented in 13... Adaptive seems unlikely......

They have announced it to the world....... So why would you hide the lab, sounds very fishy to me. The quality/reputation of the lab would add or reduce validity of the results ? I'm guessing either a dodgy lab or a decent lab that doesn't want to be aligned with what they consider a dodgy specimen or results.

Got a tail to tell....

I may be wrong but does there seem to be a problem with the sample? Labs live and die on the veracity of their results. What lab was the big cat dna sent to?

When we breathe out we expel CO2, which is an acid, if we breathe out to much, by hyperventilating, we become slightly more alkaline which can make us feel unwell. We control our acid base balance by breathing to a major degree, so when we puff after running we are breathing out CO2 to counteract the raised lactic acid in our bodies more than breathing in O2. When people hyperventilate they don't have a overly raised acid base to counteract so they upset the balance.
