  1. Collie grey with a touch of Deerhound would be my guess.
  2. Histiocytomas in Dogs - What’s this lump?! MYDOGDOC.COM It can be worrying to find a skin lump on your dog, particularly if they are only young. Histiocytomas are common... Or canine acne, probably the former, both tend to be self limiting ?
  3. Don't think it's antagonising to state what we're all thinking ?
  4. DNA found just means dna, lots of faking goes on so it doesn't really prove anything. A road kill or cubs found would be real evidence, that would be difficult to fake.
  5. You'll be having some fun next season, mind I expect she'll give you the odd grey hair amidst the grins. ?
  6. Lymphodema which is a blockage of the lymphatic system, in pregnancy the pressure of the pups etc was constricting the lymphatic system. Basically lymphatic fluid drains into the legs but can't get out again due to the constriction. Once pups etc out the lymphatic fluid starts to circulate as normal. Ps lymphoma is a blood cancer, the names sound similar ?
  7. This lovely spring weather with light evenings I expect big cat kittens will be found all over and taken to rescues plus videos of then playing in quiet corners will be swamping Facebook etc be like Big Cat Diaries out there........ Rather like each autumn as the youngsters more to find new territories they turn up in odd places or suffer road causalities. And the winter breeding bringing lots of wandering love-lorn leopards suffering similar misfortunes............. Well it would be if they existed..............................?

  9. I was the same, slow to read or right and told is was a right retard at school till I found some books i wanted to read then never looked back, dog training, country sports etc, i still did shite a school mind, to much time skipping it to go mooching with mates and a motley pack of dogs chasing anything that moved, bird nesting etc but that love of reading came in handy later in life and it turned out I was a bit intelligent after all......would never have guessed from my early years, just shows u shouldn't write people off because they don't get on in school.
  10. Lost a little weight but bouncing now, little fecker ?
  11. Pads like tyres and well boned joints come as standard with the Galgos. ?
  12. I ran a saluki saturated dog in the 80s, good chaser, coud certainly stay but not great at connecting, bit frustrating at times. Unlikely but it sometimes seemed he was a bit more interested in the run rather than the catch. The flint on the south downs dropped a few toes over a couple of seasons, sold him to a bloke from Bedfordshire in the end.
  13. Those that have been all say they were welcomed with open arms, very friendly reception.
  14. There's a few over here running pure Galgos and putting over our stuff to good effect, imported dog bred similar to my pup has bred a few pups. Seen some vids of it running.
  15. Experience is key, more they run the better they get brain wise, definitely up and atem but they stay well. Speed wise slower than a grey but soon leave a whippet. Fair few lines, some very old family lines going back many generations others based on what is producing. Both my bitches are double bred to a dog that consistently produced winners, capote, and out of a bitch line famous for killing, charlana killed 10 hares in two days, killed every hare she ran bar one in a competition as killing most in under a minute, much like the Africa bitch. When you consider the law th
  16. I have on my special slop joggers, ready for any occasion ?
  17. That's a great bitch called Africa, in the national this year. Shows u can't judge a dog on one run. Her problem was she is too good at killing hares. In Spain a course under a minute doesn't count and she kept killing in under a minute so had to keep running hares through each round until she'd taken the edge off and then she still beat all comers, towards the end of the comp she'd run twice as long as the other and gotten broken ribs from a collision and pretty much wrecked her feet. I wouldn't have run a dog in that condition but they hoped with the edge off she'd get through to
  18. Not a great picture so always be conjecture but my guess would be an old lab pottering about the wood. When we include prior plausibility, the chance of a couple of pictures of an old dog, from the thousands taken daily having a few that look a little odd then we have a good guess.
  19. A little "Steam Punk"... Not sure Ken has the legs for it ?
  20. In what way? Do you think the conclusions were wrong or the cohort was not representative or what? Or are you just upset because it proves a point you don't like?
