  1. Very nice Shay...personally, I'd leave the stock as it is, but I've seen the pictures of your plasti-dipped stocks, and they do look very good...
  2. Well you need to make sure it does stay under 12ft lbs! If you buy the correct ram for the rifle, all should be fine. Max range all depends on your ability. If you can hit the kill-zone consistently then you'll have no issues dropping any airgun quarry out to 45 yards. It all comes down to how confident you feel with your kit mate, but make sure you put the range time in, and practice at different distances too until you're getting sub inch groups consistently.
  3. Tench isn't your man for the HW99 mate. Tench is a maestro for regulating PCPs. Steve Pope at V-Mach is your man. Have a look at his website and you'll find all your contact details, and he'll be able to give you a price based on what you want him to do.
  4. Excellent shooting ftm, well done mate.
  5. Good stuff Millsy. Good to see you're back on form after the off day you posted about recently! Your S10 is looking good too mate.
  6. A bad nights shooting beats a good night doing most other things in my book mate. Hopefully you enjoyed being out with some good company!
  7. Despite the lack of action, that was a really good read. Good on you both.
  8. You've definitely made a choice that you won't regret mate, and many of the regulars on here (myself included) will be a little envious of you! Have you thought about getting it tuned? I'll bet it seems perfect straight out of the box, but if you get Tony Wall at Sandwell Field Sports or Steve Pope (V-Mach) to give it the once over, you'll be blown even further away!
  9. Cheers Ian, worth keeping that in mind!
  10. haha, buster you almost made tea come out of my nose!
  11. Well done mate, great photo. Good luck with your new rifle when it comes.
  12. Great shooting chaps, and an excellent write up/photos too Davy. Top stuff. SPA.
  13. Top stuff fellas! SP from me. Those squirrels look like they've been for a swim!
  14. Good on you mate - always nice to get a good deal! Sounds like your local RFD is a decent chap too!
  15. Now then airgunners! I got to have a little trip to my new permission on Thursday morning. As I drove into the property all the rooks flew off, and I wasn't in the mood (too impatient!) to sit still and await their return, so I just spent a while wandering around with my Ultra. Took this bunny with a 25 yard standing shot. Point of impact: I know the shot placement looks a little far forward to be perfect, but the angle at which the shot was presented meant this was the best place for the shot- it dropped with just one kick of a back leg. I went again on Friday morning. I d
  16. It's definitely worth spending the money to get it tuned up if you do get a 95 mate. As previously mentioned, Sandwell Field Sports or V-Mach would be my choice. I had my 95 tuned by Steve Pope at V-Mach a couple of years ago, and it took a great rifle to an incredible rifle.
  17. Great job mate, I love a bit of feral bashing myself.
  18. Great shooting Dom, and well done on the new permission. Doesn't always happen that easy does it?!
  19. Great write up fellas, and good pictures. Looks like a beautiful permission you have there!
  20. That is a hell of a deal - one that if I had more work, I would snap you hand off for.
