  1. I Paid £440 for mine new in a beech stock but had a decent scope put on her to for that, The rifle alone was £365
  2. Hey i'm after a new stock for my Hw97kt, just cant get on with it, anyone know the price of a standard or synth stock, Trying to get a swap on the for sale section but if it fails im gonna be buying one,
  3. Have seen alot of them for sale very. I'm thinkin of pickin 1 up just out of curiousity. Are they in the same league as Smk.
  4. Like the title says, Are Commeta Air rifles any good or are they Cheap rubbish ?
  5. Accupell and Bisley Magnums in my Hw97kt and Hw77k
  6. Just out of interest, Why and How did you Notify the police ?
  7. I Started when i was 12/13 first year in secondary school back in 1994. Bought a rough old webley Vulcan with the butt snapped of the stock for £2 dinner money, . Anyhow i drilled thru both sections drove a dirty big bolt thru and painted it brown. My mate Beano also had a westlake something or other and beleive it or not i we used to put our dads old leather jackets on and shoot at each other in a dis used cemetary, CRAZY when we think back Young and very Dumb. but we never got hurt and we shot hell of alot. both guns combined must have only been 4 ftlbs, Anyways the years went by discover
  8. Ye I'll persevere, but a new Permission is very appealling. Think its worse cos i have a new rifle and I'm dying to try it out.
  9. Hey all Sold my Bsa S10 last month an picked up a new Hw97kt, I havent been out Shooting for roughly 18 mnths due to the birth of my Daughter an work commitments, But have some free time on my hands now after work going slack, Which is why i decided to swap rifles and start shooting again,Back to basics with a Springer. So have been out punching paper with the new rifle for last 3 weeks or so, running it in and getting a feel for it, Went out after an early finish on Monday bout 4 til 6 hoping for some squizzers Did'nt see a thing, Tried again Friday from 2 til 5 not a sausage again,
  10. Ok took rifle into gunsmiths this morning, The guy took a look and said id done a cracking job on the prep work and said to send away you'd be wasting your money, so he gave me a bottle of gun blue and i had a go, starting new topic with pics on how this went, thanks for all the interest and replies tho lads.
  11. Nice buy mate i recently picked up a 77 bout same age looked alot worse than yours tho , Currently looking into re blueing mine,
  12. Ok i rang my local gunshop yesterday and they said they can send it off for a proper bluing and throw in a service for £120, I think im gonna go for this as i need a service and need to test the power, as it second hand an not sure if the previous owner has tampered with it. Plus it will come back like a brand new rifle and will look nice with its bigger brother my HW97kt in my gun Cabinet im gonna build.
  13. I'm just gonna come out and say it, Stay away from Westlake & Smk well anything Chinese really
  14. There are lots to avoid i wont mention them tho , I'd recomend a spring rifle purely on your budget as the pcp's are alot more expensive, Rifles i would recomend are any thing in the Weirauch range between the hw77 and the hw95 Air arms also make good rifle the Tx200 or Prosport, Bsa are also worth a mention i used to own a Bsa Lightening and it was a great little rifle. Hope this helps.
