    Today was to be our first real day out on our new permission, we met up with the keeper, who took us to the first place he wanted us to concentrate on, open fields and plenty of warrens littered here and there, all pulled out and looking promising, Nell marked the first warren we came across so I left my mate to it while I made my way out into the unknown, it wasn’t long before I had a positive mark, so with 100yard of longnets out I entered 5 ferrets into the sprawling warren it was a good 20 mins before the rabbits started to cooperate, with 6 in the bag and a ferret missing it was out with

    One muppet local to me has been posting pics on Facebook of his lamping outings, really chuffed with himself catching 1/2 grown rabbits and leverets, when some one said it’s abit earlie his come back was just keeping up with everyone else,

    I’d be tempted to leave her now mate as long as she’s in a clean cage she should be out of season in a few weeks naturally
