    Due to a shoot taking place on one of our permissions we opted for change of place, Its abit of a tradition we have started at this perticular spot for the last 2 seasons so keeping up with tradition here we were all set up and ready for the off, things looked promising with rabbits moving about all over the place, it wasn’t long before we had a mark off Nell and away we went, in a matter of minutes I had 6 in the bag, i went one way, my mate went the other, as I was lifting my longnets up in typical Nell fashion she was off with nose to the ground hovering up any scent the was to be found, an

    Today was to be our first real day out on our new permission, we met up with the keeper, who took us to the first place he wanted us to concentrate on, open fields and plenty of warrens littered here and there, all pulled out and looking promising, Nell marked the first warren we came across so I left my mate to it while I made my way out into the unknown, it wasn’t long before I had a positive mark, so with 100yard of longnets out I entered 5 ferrets into the sprawling warren it was a good 20 mins before the rabbits started to cooperate, with 6 in the bag and a ferret missing it was out with
